ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ ազգային հետախուզության տնօրենի իր պաշտոնակատարն ունի լայն լիազորություններ պետական փաստաթղթերի, դրանց թվում՝ 2020 թվականի ընտրությունների հետ հնարավոր առնչություն ունեցող նյութերի գաղտնազերծման հարցում, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։

Ըստ Թրամփի՝ նախկինում իր նշանակած Բիլ Փուլտը, որն ազգային անվտանգության ոլորտում փորձ չունի, ժամանակավորապես գլխավորում է հետախուզական գերատեսչությունը և կարող է ինքնուրույն որոշումներ ընդունել տեղեկատվության գաղտնազերծման վերաբերյալ։

«Բիլն այնտեղ է, հնարավոր է, մեկ կամ երկու ամիս։ Բայց քանի դեռ նա այնտեղ է, ես ասել եմ՝ դու կարող ես գաղտնազերծել այն ամենը, ինչ ցանկանում ես»,- լրագրողներին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը։

Պատասխանելով հարցին՝ արդյոք նման որոշումները կարո՞ղ են վերաբերել 2020 թվականի ընտրություններին առնչվող կապված նյութերին, նախագահը նշել է, որ դա հնարավոր է համարում, սակայն կոնկրետ մանրամասներ չի հաստատել։

Փուլտի նշանակումը ԱՄՆ-ում քաղաքական քննադատության է արժանացել ազգային անվտանգության ոլորտում նրա սահմանափակ փորձի պատճառով։ Ավելի ուշ Թրամփը ազգային հետախուզության ղեկավարի պաշտոնում առաջադրել է Ջեյ Քլեյթոնի թեկնածությունը, սակայն հետաձգել է նրա հաստատումը Սենատում՝ քվեարկության կանոնների մասին օրինագծերին առնչվող քաղաքական տարաձայնությունների ֆոնին։

ԱՄՆ ազգային հետախուզության տնօրենի գրասենյակը համակարգում է երկրի առանցքային հետախուզական կառույցների, դրանց թվում՝ Կենտրոնական հետախուզական վարչության և Ազգային անվտանգության գործակալության աշխատանքը։

Սենատում Քլեյթոնի թեկնածության քննարկման ժամկետները դեռևս որոշված չեն։ Լրատվամիջոցների տվյալներով՝ Բիլ Փուլտը շարունակում է ժամանակավորապես կատարել գերատեսչության ղեկավարի պարտականությունները և արդեն իսկ կրճատումներ է նախաձեռնել հետախուզական կառույցներում։
