Կառավարությունը նախատեսում է գործարկել առողջության համընդհանուր ապահովագրության բոնուսային համակարգը, որի շրջանակում առողջ ապրելակերպ վարող քաղաքացիները կկուտակեն բոնուսային միավորներ և կկարողանան դրանք օգտագործել անկանխիկ վճարումների համար։ Կառավարության այսօր հաստատված նախագծով սահմանվում է` ինչպես են հաշվարկվելու, փոխանցվելու և օգտագործվելու բոնուսային միավորները։
 
Ըստ օրենսդրական կարգավորումների՝ բոնուսային միավորները կուտակվելու են ապահովագրված անձի հատուկ բոնուսային հաշվում։ Նախագծով սահմանվում է, որ 1 բոնուսային միավորը համարժեք է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության 1 դրամին։
«Յուրաքանչյուր օրացուցային տարվա համար ապահովագրված անձի բոնուսային հաշվին փոխանցվող վերջնական բոնուսային միավորները չեն կարող գերազանցել իր կողմից վճարվող տարեկան ապահովագրավճարի 10 տոկոսը՝ 12 960 դրամը»,– նշված է նախագծում։
Այսինքն` բոնուս ստանում է այն քաղաքացին, ով տարվա ընթացքում ընդհանրապես չի հիվանդացել ու բժշկի չի գնացել բուժվելու, դեղ ստանալու կամ վիրահատվելու համար։
Բացի այդ, լրացուցիչ բոնուսներ կտրամադրվեն այն քաղաքացիներին, ովքեր արյան դոնոր են դարձել կամ բարելավել են առողջական ցուցանիշները, օրինակ` մարմնի զանգվածի նվազեցմանը, ծխախոտից կամ ալկոհոլից հրաժարվելուն, եթե այդ փոփոխությունները կարձանագրվեն ընտանեկան բժշկի կողմից։
Առողջապահության նախարարության հաշվարկներով՝ համակարգի առաջին տարում բոնուս ստացողների թիվը կարող է հասնել շուրջ 37 հազար մարդու, իսկ տրամադրվելիք բոնուսների ընդհանուր արժեքը կկազմի մոտ 471 մլն դրամ։ Նախագիծն ուժի մեջ կմտնի 2029 թվականին հունվարի 1–ից։
Փոխվարչապետ Մհեր Գրիգորյանն էլ իր հերթին առաջարկեց առողջ ապրելակերպին հետևելու համար օգտագործել հատուկ մոնիթորինգային սարքեր, որոնք մարդիկ կկրեն՝ առողջության ցուցանիշներին հետևելու համար, ու որոնք կապված կլինեն նաև առաջնային օղակի հետ։
