ԱՄՆ զինված ուժերը հարվածներ են հասցրել Իրանին՝ իրանական ուժերի կողմից բեռնանավի թիրախավորումից հետո։ Թեհրանն, իր հերթին, հայտարարել է, որ դարձյալ փակել է Հորմուզի նեղուցը, իսկ Ծոցի որոշ երկրներ ենթարկվել են հարձակման, գրում է Reuters-ը։

Ըստ ամերիկյան կողմի՝ Թեհրանի թիրախում հայտնված նավը Կիպրոսի դրոշի ներքո էր նավարկում։ ԱՄՆ կենտրոնական հրամանատարության փոխանցմամբ՝ նավը լրջորեն վնասվել է, իսկ անձնակազմի անդամներից մեկի գտնվելու վայրն անհայտ է։ Միացյալ Թագավորության ծովային առևտրի գործակալության տվյալով՝ բեռնանավի անձնակազմը թողել է նավը և փրկանավակի վրա է գտնվում։

Թեհրանից պարզաբանել են, որ բեռնանավին հասցված նախազգուշական կրակոցից հետո են փակել նեղուցը, քանի որ նավը չհաստատված երթուղով էր ընթանում։

Համաշխարհային մատակարարումների համար առանցքային ջրային ուղին փակ կմնա «մինչև տարածաշրջանում ամերիկյան միջամտության ավարտը», ընդգծել են Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսից (ԻՀՊԿ)՝ հավելելով, որ ամերիկյան նոր ռազմական գործողությունների դեպքում կշարունակեն թիրախավորել տարածաշրջանի «թշնամական ռազմաբազաները»։

Այս հայտարարությունից գրեթե մեկ ժամ անց ԱՄՆ կենտրոնական հրամանատարությունը հայտնեց Իրանին հասցված նոր հարվածների մասին։

Իրանի պետական լրատվամիջոցները հաղորդել են երկրի մի քանի նավահանգստային քաղաքներում պայթյունների մասին։

Ավելի ուշ, ԻՀՊԿ-ն հայտարարեց ԱՄՆ դաշնակից Հորդանանում տեղակայված ռազմաբազայի հրամանատարական շտաբ և անօդաչուների անգարներ ոչնչացնելու մասին։

Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրություններից իրանական անօդաչուներն ու հրթիռները վնասազերծելու գործողությունների մասին են հայտնել, մինչդեռ Կատարը հաստատել է, որ իրանական հրթիռ է խոցել։

Reuters-ը գրում է, որ Կատարի մայրաքաղաք Դոհայում պայթյուններ են լսվել, իսկ Բահրեյնում օդային տագնապ է հայտարարվել։

ԱՄՆ-ի և Իրանի միջև ռազմական բախման ամենաթարմ էջը հուլիսի 7-ին սկսվեց։ Միացյալ Նահանգները Թեհրանից պահանջում է հրապարակայնորեն ընդունել, որ Իրանը խախտել է փետրվարի 28-ին սկսված պատերազմին վերջ դնող փոխըմբռնման հուշագրի պայմանները՝ գնդակոծելով քաղաքացիական նավերը Հորմուզի նեղուցում, հաղորդել է CBS-ը՝ վկայակոչելով ամերիկյան վարչակազմի բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցչի:
