Հնդկաստանի Մահարաշտրա նահանգում իրավապահները ձերբակալել են 25-ամյա տղամարդու, որը կասկածվում է 5-ամյա աղջկա առևանգման և նրա նկատմամբ առանձնակի ծանր հանցագործություն կատարելու մեջ։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Past.am-ը՝ հղում անելով  The Times of India-ին:

Տեղական լրատվամիջոցների տվյալներով՝ դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել Ռայգադ շրջանում։ Աղջկա ծնողները հուլիսի 14-ի վաղ առավոտյան ոստիկանություն են հայտնել, որ երեխան անհետացել է։

Դեպքից հետո սկսվել են որոնողական աշխատանքներ, որոնց մասնակցել են նաև տեղի բնակիչները։ Որոշ ժամանակ անց երեխային հայտնաբերել են անտառային հատվածում։ Նրան անմիջապես տեղափոխել են բուժհաստատություն, սակայն բժիշկներին չի հաջողվել փրկել նրա կյանքը։

Նախնական տվյալներով՝ քննությունը ենթադրում է, որ կասկածյալը երեխային տարել է անտառ, որտեղ էլ կատարվել է հանցագործությունը։

Իրավապահները կասկածյալին հայտնաբերել են տեսահսկման համակարգերի տեսագրությունների օգնությամբ։ Հաղորդվում է, որ հարցաքննության ընթացքում նա խոստովանական ցուցմունք է տվել՝ նշելով, որ մտադիր էր ներկայանալ իրավապահներին, սակայն վախեցել էր տեղի բնակիչների հնարավոր ինքնադատաստանից։
