Վենեսուելայում տեղի ունեցած ավերիչ երկրաշարժի հետևանքով զոհվածների թիվը հասել է 5,069-ի։ Այս մասին հայտնել է հանրապետության Ազգային ասամբլեայի նախագահ Խորխե Ռոդրիգեսը, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

Ռոդրիգեսի հրապարակած կառավարական ամենօրյա ամփոփագրի համաձայն՝ 16,740 մարդ ստացել է վնասվածքներ, 17,907-ը՝ զրկվել օթևանից։ Ամբողջությամբ ավերվել է 190 շենք, 856-ը ստացել են զգալի վնասներ։ Որոնողափրկարարական գործողությունների ընթացքում փրկվել է 6,462 մարդ, 36,951 մարդ բուժում է անցել բժշկական հաստատություններում։ Օգնություն է ցուցաբերվել 128,324 ընտանիքի, 21,235 մարդ տեղավորվել է 107 ժամանակավոր ճամբարներում, տուժածներին փոխանցվել է 10,063 տոննա սննդամթերք։

Հիշեցնենք, որ երկրաշարժը Վենեսուելայում տեղի է ունեցել հունիսի 24-ի երեկոյան։ Մոտ 40 վայրկյան տարբերությամբ գրանցվել է ստորգետնյա ցնցումների երկու սերիա՝ 7,2 և 7,5 մագնիտուդով։ Դրանց էպիկենտրոնները գտնվել են միմյանցից 10 կմ հեռավորության վրա՝ Յարակույ նահանգում։ Երկրաշարժից հետո տեղի է ունեցել 1,331 հետցնցում։
