Պետեր Մադյարը Հունգարիայի նախագահի պաշտոնում առաջադրելու է շախմատիստուհի Հուդիտ Պոլգարի թեկնածությունը: Այս մասին հետևում է Մադյարի՝ Facebook-ում արված հայտարարությունից։
Մադյարի խոսքով՝ Պոլգարի թեկնածությունն առաջարկել են երկրի հասարակական կյանքի հեղինակավոր ներկայացուցիչները։
«Այդ պատճառով վաղը ես կհանդիպեմ նրա հետ և կհարցնեմ՝ պատրաստ է արդյոք նա նոր Սահմանադրության ընդունումից առաջ ստանձնել այդ դերը և ծառայել երկրին նոր որակով», - ասվում է հրապարակման մեջ։
Մադյարը նշել է, որ Պոլգարն արժանացել է ճանաչման իր մասնագիտական ձեռքբերումների և ոչ թե քաղաքական կապերի շնորհիվ։
«Մեր երկրին անհրաժեշտ են միասնություն, խաղաղություն և այնպիսի նախագահ, որովհետև կարող են հպարտանալ բոլոր հունգարացիները։ Անձամբ ինձ համար մեծ պատիվ կլիներ, եթե նա համաձայներ ընդունել այս առաջարկը», - ընդգծել է Հունգարիայի վարչապետը։
Նախօրեին Հունգարիայի նախագահ Տամաշ Սույոկը ստորագրել է Սահմանադրության 17-րդ փոփոխությունը, որը նախատեսում է նրա լիազորությունների դադարեցումը։ Նա նշել է, որ համաձայն չէ փոփոխությունների հետ, սակայն Սահմանադրությունը թույլ չի տալիս պետության գլխին վիճարկել խորհրդարանի ընդունած որոշումը։
Հուդիտ Պոլգարը հունգարացի շախմատիստուհի է, միջազգային գրոսմայստեր, որը համարվում է պատմության ամենաուժեղ շախմատիստուհին: Պոլգարը հայտարարել է կարիերան ավարտելու մասին 2014 թվականին:
