Շատերը կարծում են, թե քաղցկեղն անպայման ուղեկցվում է ուժեղ ցավերով կամ ակնհայտ գոյացությամբ։ Սակայն մասնագետները նշում են, որ հիվանդության որոշ տեսակներ երկար ժամանակ կարող են զարգանալ գրեթե աննկատ՝ արտահայտվելով ոչ այնքան ակնհայտ ախտանիշներով։

Այդ նշաններից մեկը կարող է լինել ամբողջ մարմնի կամ դրա առանձին հատվածների համառ քորը, հատկապես եթե այն շարունակվում է շաբաթներով և չունի ակնհայտ պատճառ, օրինակ՝ ալերգիա, մաշկային հիվանդություն կամ դեղորայքային ազդեցություն։ Որոշ դեպքերում նման քորը կարող է կապված լինել արյան համակարգի որոշ քաղցկեղների կամ լյարդի և լեղուղիների հիվանդությունների հետ։

Ուշադրության արժանի է նաև մաշկի գույնի փոփոխությունը։ Դեղնավուն երանգը կարող է առաջանալ լյարդի կամ ենթաստամոքսային գեղձի խնդիրների դեպքում, իսկ մաշկի անսպասելի մգացումը կամ նոր առաջացած մուգ բծերը երբեմն պահանջում են լրացուցիչ հետազոտություն։ Թեև նման փոփոխությունները շատ հաճախ ունեն ոչ քաղցկեղային պատճառներ, դրանք անտեսել նույնպես չի կարելի։

Բժիշկները խորհուրդ են տալիս ուշադրություն դարձնել նաև հետևյալ ախտանիշներին.

  • անբացատրելի քաշի կորուստ,
  • երկարատև հոգնածություն,
  • գիշերային առատ քրտնարտադրություն,
  • երկար ժամանակ պահպանվող ջերմություն,
  • չլավացող վերքեր,
  • մարմնի ցանկացած հատվածում նոր գոյացություն կամ այտուց,
  • աղիների կամ միզարձակման սովորությունների փոփոխություն,
  • երկարատև հազ կամ ձայնի խռպոտություն։

Մասնագետները շեշտում են, որ այս նշաններից ոչ մեկը ինքնին չի նշանակում, որ մարդը քաղցկեղ ունի։ Դրանք կարող են պայմանավորված լինել բազմաթիվ այլ, հաճախ ոչ վտանգավոր հիվանդություններով։ Սակայն եթե որևէ ախտանիշ պահպանվում է մի քանի շաբաթ, ուժեղանում է կամ ուղեկցվում է այլ անհանգստացնող փոփոխություններով, անհրաժեշտ է դիմել բժշկի և անցնել համապատասխան հետազոտություն։

Վաղ հայտնաբերումն այսօր շարունակում է մնալ քաղցկեղի դեմ պայքարի ամենաարդյունավետ միջոցներից մեկը։ Շատ դեպքերում հիվանդությունը վաղ փուլում հայտնաբերելու դեպքում բուժման արդյունավետությունը զգալիորեն բարձր է։
