Արցախի նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի կինը՝ Վերոնիկա Զոնաբենդը արձագանքել է Հայաստանի վարչապետի՝ Ադրբեջանում անազատության մեջ գտնվող հայերի վերաբերյալ նախօրեին արած հայտարարությանը: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նախօրեին մասնավորապես հայտարարել էր՝ «բոլորիս շատ անհանգստացնում է մեր հայրենակիցների՝ Ադրբեջանում անազատության մեջ լինելը»:
«Ես լիովին կիսում եմ այս գնահատականը և ուրախ էի կարդալ այդ խոսքերը: Դրական եմ գնահատում լրատվամիջոցներում հրապարակված տեղեկությունները, ըստ որոնց՝ ինձ հետ հանդիպման կազմակերպման համար պատասխանատու գերատեսչություն է նշանակվել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը։ Միաժամանակ անհրաժեշտ եմ համարում հստակեցնել, որ այսօրվա դրությամբ դեռևս ինձ հետ կապ չի հաստատվել, և պատասխանատու պաշտոնատար անձի կոնտակտային տվյալներ ինձ չեն փոխանցվել»,- նշել է նա։
Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի կինը կոչ էր արել կանանց մարդասիրական պատվիրակություն ձևավորել՝ Բաքվի բանտում գտնվող հայերին այցելելու նպատակով։
«Ակնկալում եմ ստանալ պատասխանատու պաշտոնատար անձի կոնտակտային տվյալները և հույս ունեմ առարկայական հանդիպման՝ քննարկելու Բաքու կանանց մարդասիրական այցի կազմակերպման հետագա քայլերը, ինչպես նաև Ադրբեջանում կալանքի տակ պահվող Հայաստանի քաղաքացիներին առնչվող այլ հարցեր»,- ընդգծել նա։
Արցախի նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը դատապարտվել է 20 տարվա ազատազրկման: Երբևէ զինվորական պաշտոն չզբաղեցրած Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին Բաքվի դատարանը մեղավոր ճանաչեց մի շարք հանցանքների, այդ թվում՝ Ադրբեջանի դեմ պատերազմի, ահաբեկչության ֆինանսավորման, մարդկանց տեղահանելու մեջ։
Վարդանյանը տեղի ունեցողը որակել է ոչ թե դատ, այլ ֆարս:
Ադրբեջանական բանտերում այժմ 19 հայ գերի է պահվում, նրանք դատապարտվել են 15 տարուց մինչև ցմահ ազատազրկման։
