Արգենտինայի հավաքականի և «Ինտեր Մայամիի» հարձակվող Լիոնել Մեսսին ինստագրամյան իր էջում ծավալուն և հուզիչ գրառում է կատարել հոր մահվան կապակցությամբ: Անկեղծ նամակում ֆուտբոլիստը նաև ակնարկել է կարիերան մոտ ապագայում ավարտելու հավանականության մասին:

Իր գրառման մեջ Մեսսին անդրադարձել է հոր հետ ունեցած ամուր կապին և վերջին Աշխարհի առաջնության դժվարին օրերին.

«Հայրի՛կ, դեռ չեմ կարողանում հավատալ, որ հեռացել ես։ Դու այնքան էիր խնդրում ինձ խաղալ վերջին աշխարհի առաջնությունում, և դրա մեկնարկից օրեր առաջ քո վիճակը վատացավ։ Յուրաքանչյուր խաղից հետո սպասում էի քո հաղորդագրությանը, և հենց այդ ժամանակ հասկացա, որ իրավիճակն իսկապես վատ է։ Ուզում էի հաղթել քեզ համար, … բայց ոտքերս այլևս չէին ենթարկվում»։

Ֆուտբոլիստը նաև կիսվել է իր ապագայի վերաբերյալ կասկածներով և հոր անփոխարինելի դերով իր կյանքում.

«Չգիտեմ՝ ինչ եմ անելու առանց քեզ, չգիտեմ՝ ինչպես շարունակել։ Ես միայն ֆուտբոլ էի խաղում, և հիմա բավականին մեծ կասկածներ ունեմ, որ էլի երկար ժամանակ կշարունակեմ դա անել։ Դու իմ կողքին էիր հենց սկզբից, այնքան քիչ էր մնացել մինչև ավարտը։ Ինչո՞ւ մի փոքր էլ չդիմացար, որպեսզի ավարտեինք միասին։ Դու հայր էիր, ընկեր և ներկայացուցիչ։ Հանգչի՛ր խաղաղությամբ… Սիրում եմ քեզ, պապ»։

Հիշեցնենք, որ Խորխե Մեսսին 68 տարեկան հասակում կյանքից հեռացել է Ռոսարիո քաղաքի կլինիկաներից մեկում՝ տևական ծանր հիվանդությունից հետո: Հուղարկավորությունը կայացել է օգոստոսի 9-ին՝ անվտանգության խիստ միջոցառումների ներքո, որին ներկա են գտնվել բացառապես ընտանիքի անդամները:
