Երևանում մոտ 15 հազար տարվա բնակավայր է հայտնաբերվել

Երևանի Սիլիկյան թաղամասում, Ակադեմիական քաղաքի նախատեսվող տարածքում, շարունակվում են հնագիտական պեղումները։ Մասնագետների նախնական գնահատմամբ՝ այստեղ հայտնաբերված հնավայրի տարիքը կարող է հասնել շուրջ 15 հազար տարվա։
Հնավայրը դեռևս 1980-ականներին հայտնաբերել էր հնագետ Հակոբ Սիմոնյանը, սակայն լայնածավալ ուսումնասիրությունները վերսկսվել են 2025 թվականին։ Այս տարի աշխատանքները շարունակվում են բլրի հարավային լանջին և ստորոտում։
Մոտ 500 քմ տարածքում հնագետներն արդեն հայտնաբերել են շուրջ 42 կլոր հատակագծով կառույց՝ 2-ից 5 մետր տրամագծով։ Դրանց մի մասում պահպանվել են կավածեփ հատակների հետքեր։
Հատկապես ուշագրավ է ավելի քան 17 մետր տրամագծով խոշոր կառույցը։ Ըստ նախնական վարկածի՝ այն կարող էր ունենալ հասարակական նշանակություն։ Կառույցի ներսում նույնպես հայտնաբերվել է կավածեփ հատակ, իսկ պատերի հատվածներում պահպանվել է տարբեր չափերի քարերից կազմված շարվածք։
Մասնագետների համար գտածոն կարևոր է նաև նրանով, որ հնավայրը բաց տարածքում գտնվող բնակավայր է։ Այդ ժամանակաշրջանի բազմաթիվ հայտնի հնավայրեր կապված են քարանձավների հետ, ուստի նոր ուսումնասիրությունները կարող են լրացուցիչ տեղեկություններ տալ Հայաստանի տարածքի վաղ բնակեցման մասին։
Հնագետներն առաջարկում են հնավայրը հետագայում ներառել Ակադեմիական քաղաքի նախագծում՝ պահպանելով այն և օգտագործելով գիտական ու կրթական նպատակներով։ Այսպիսով, հազարավոր տարիների պատմություն ունեցող տարածքը կարող է դառնալ ապագա Ակադեմիական քաղաքի յուրահատուկ հատվածներից մեկը։
