Եվրոպական միությունը Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև առևտրային և տարանցիկ սահմանափակումների վերացումը, ինչպես նաև հասարակությունների միջև շփումների ընդլայնումը համարում է Վաշինգտոնում 2025 թվականի օգոստոսի 8-ին երկու երկրների միջև խաղաղության համաձայնագրի նախագծի նախաձեռնումից անցած տարվա կարևոր արդյունքներ: Այս մասին ադրբեջանական Report-ի եվրոպական բյուրոյին հայտնել է ԵՄ արտաքին գործերի և անվտանգության քաղաքականության ծառայության (EEAS) մամուլի քարտուղար Անիտա Հիփերը։

«Խաղաղության համաձայնագրի նախագծի նախաձեռնումը և խաղաղության գործընթացի վերաբերյալ համատեղ հռչակագրի ստորագրումը 2025 թվականի օգոստոսի 8-ին դարձան պատմական քայլեր Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև հարաբերությունների լիարժեք կարգավորման ճանապարհին», - ասել է EEAS-ի մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավարը։

Հիփերի խոսքով՝ այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր կողմերը ձեռք են բերել կարևոր առաջընթաց, որը օգուտներ է բերել երկու երկրներին էլ։ ԵՄ-ում, մասնավորապես, նշել են առևտրային և տարանցիկ սահմանափակումների վերացումը, պահվող անձանց ազատ արձակումը, ինչպես նաև «Խաղաղության կամուրջ» նախաձեռնության շրջանակներում երկու երկրների ներկայացուցիչների միջև շփումների ընդլայնումը։

Ընդ որում՝ Բրյուսելն անհրաժեշտ է համարում շարունակել ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների իրագործումը և ապահովել խաղաղության պայմանագրի ստորագրումն ու վավերացումը։

ԵՄ-ն նաև աջակցում է հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործնական քայլերի շարունակմանը, ինչպիսիք են կապակցվածության, առևտրի և էներգետիկայի ոլորտներում համագործակցության ընդլայնումը, նշել է Հիփերը։

Նա հավելել է, որ ոչ պակաս կարևոր է մնում սահմանազատման և սահմանագծման գործընթացի շարունակությունը, հումանիտար հարցերի լուծումը և հաշտեցման ուղղությամբ աշխատանքը, այդ թվում՝ հասարակությունների մակարդակով։

«ԵՄ-ն պատրաստ է լրացուցիչ աջակցություն և փորձագիտական ​​օգնություն տրամադրել այս բոլոր ոլորտներում», - հայտարարել է Եվրամիության ներկայացուցիչը։
