Իրանի խորհրդարանի նախագահ Մոհամադ Բաղեր Ղալիբաֆը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, ստորագրելով Իսլամաբադի փոխըմբռնման հուշագիրը, փաստացի ճանաչել է «դիմադրության առանցքի» գոյությունը, հաղորդել է Mehr-ը։

Շաբաթ օրը Թեհրանում մշակույթի ոլորտի ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ելույթ ունենալով՝ Ղալիբաֆը խոսել է Իրանի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև բանակցությունների ընթացքի մասին և հայտնել, որ քննարկումների ընթացքում Վաշինգտոնը փորձել է հասնել այն բանին, որ Թեհրանը հրաժարվի հրթիռային և միջուկային ծրագրերից, դիմադրության ուժերին աջակցելուց և Հորմուզի նեղուցի նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունից։

Ղալիբաֆի խոսքով՝ 15 կետից բաղկացած սկզբնական փաստաթուղթը ներառում էր պահանջներ այս բոլոր հարցերի վերաբերյալ, սակայն ի վերջո Թրամփը ստորագրել է մի փաստաթուղթ, որը, ինչպես պնդում է իրանցի խոսնակը, փաստացի նշանակում էր «դիմադրության ճակատի» ճանաչում։

Ղալիբաֆը նաև բացատրել է ԱՄՆ-ի հետ Իրանի բանակցությունների դադարեցման պատճառները։ Նրա խոսքով՝ Թեհրանը դադարեցրել է երկխոսությունն Իսրայելի կողմից Լիբանանի դեմ հարվածների շարունակումից հետո, որոնք, ինչպես պնդում է իրանական կողմը, խախտել են Վաշինգտոնի և Թեհրանի միջև ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները։

Խոսնակի խոսքով՝ վերջին կետը Բեյրութի Դահիա շրջանի դեմ իսրայելական հարվածն էր, որի հետևանքով զոհվել են «Հեզբոլլահի» հետախուզության ղեկավարը և նրա ընտանիքի անդամները։ Դրանից հետո Իրանը նախազգուշացրել է, որ պատրաստ է պատասխան հարված հասցնել ամբողջ տարածաշրջանին, եթե Իսրայելը կրկին ռազմական գործողությունների դիմի։

Ղալիբաֆը նաև մեղադրել է ԱՄՆ-ին իրանական նավահանգիստների շրջափակումը վերացնելու պայմանավորվածությունը խախտելու մեջ։ Նրա խոսքով՝ Թրամփի հրապարակումը, որտեղ շրջափակման վերացումը կապվում էր Հորմուզի նեղուցի բացման հետ, ստիպել է Թեհրանին պահանջել Վաշինգտոնից շտկել այդ պնդումը, քանի որ Իրանը, ինչպես հայտարարել է խոսնակը, նման բանի երբեք չի համաձայնել։

Մեկնաբանելով Թրամփի՝ Հորմուզի նեղուցի մասին բազմակի հայտարարությունները՝ Ղալիբաֆը ԱՄՆ-ի հետ բանակցություններն անվանել է «մարտական դիվանագիտության» տարատեսակ։
