Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիան մենակ չի թողնի իր հարևան երկրներին տարածաշրջանային ցնցումներին դիմակայելու հարցում՝ առանձնացնելով Սիրիան, Գազան և Լիբանանը։
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահն այդ մասին խոսել է «Ալ Ջազիրա» հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում։
Նա նշել է, որ Անկարան իր հնարավորությունների սահմաններում ամեն ինչ կանի Սիրիայում կայունությանը աջակցելու համար՝ հավելելով, որ ծրագրում է այցելել այդ երկիր։
Էրդողանի խոսքով՝ Սիրիայի քրդերը «խաղաղության և կայունության իրենց բաժինը կունենան»։ Նա նաև ընդգծել է, որ Թուրքիան շարունակելու է ամրապնդել կապերը տարածաշրջանի քրդական համայնքների հետ և պաշտպանել նրանց իրավունքները։
Գազայի վերաբերյալ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիան «չի կարող Գազային միայնակ թողնել» և անելու է անհրաժեշտ ամեն ինչ՝ նրան աջակցելու համար։ Նրա խոսքով՝ ՀԱՄԱՍ-ը բարեխղճորեն կատարում է իր ստանձնած պարտավորությունները, մինչդեռ Իսրայելը շարունակում է պատերազմը։
Անդրադառնալով Լիբանանին՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահը նշել է, որ Իսրայելի շարունակվող հարձակումները լուրջ մտահոգության աղբյուր են Անկարայի համար։ Նա ասել է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի՝ Թուրքիա վերջին այցի ընթացքում վերջինիս հետ քննարկել է Լիբանանում պատերազմը դադարեցնելու անհրաժեշտությունը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Վաշինգտոնը կարևոր դեր ունի ռազմական գործողությունների ավարտին հասցնելու հարցում։
