ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կարծում է, որ Իրանի հետ համաձայնության հասնելն ավելի դժվար է դարձել, քանի որ երկրի ղեկավարության մեծ մասն այլևս չկա։ «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին նա ասել է 77 WABC ռադիոկայանի եթերում իր նախկին փաստաբան Մայքլ Քոհենի հետ հարցազրույցում։
Նա ևս մեկ անգամ շեշտել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն շատ լավ վիճակում է Իրանի առումով և, ըստ էության, վերահսկում է Հորմուզի նեղուցը։
«Նավատորմը վերացել է, օդուժը վերացել է, ղեկավարությունը վերացել է։ Խնդրի մի մասն այն է, որ այնքան շատ ղեկավարներ են վերացել, որ համաձայնություն կնքելը հեշտ չէ։ Ոչ ոք չգիտի, թե ով է պատասխանատու», – ասել է Թրամփը։
ԱՄՆ առաջնորդը կրկնել է, որ Իրանի հետ հակամարտության հիմնական նպատակն է թույլ չտալ, որ Թեհրանը միջուկային զենք ձեռք բերի։ Նրա պնդմամբ՝ եթե ինքը 2018 թվականին դուրս չգար 2015 թվականին նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի օրոք Իրանի հետ կնքված միջուկային համաձայնագրից, ապա Իրանը միջուկային զենք կունենար և շատ արագ ու առանց վարանելու կօգտագործեր այն և «կջնջեր Իսրայելը, կջնջեր Մերձավոր Արևելքը»։
«Երբ մենք հարվածեցինք նրանց B-2 ռմբակոծիչներով, նրանք ընդամենը երկու շաբաթ էին հեռու նոր միջուկային ռումբ մշակելուց։ Ահա թե ինչու էի ես ստիպված դա անել, քանի որ մենք չենք կարող թույլ տալ, որ նրանք նման զենք ունենան», – նշել է ամերիկացի առաջնորդը՝ նկատի ունենալով 2025 թ. հունիսի 22-ին Ֆորդոյում, Սպահանում և Նաթանզում Իրանի երեք միջուկային օբյեկտներին հասցված հարվածները։
Թրամփը նաև նշել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի դաշնակից մերձավորարևելյան որոշ երկրներ «կիսաչեզոք» դիրք էին զբաղեցրել Իրանի դեմ հակամարտության ընթացքում։
«Երբ այս ամենը սկսվեց, ի զարման բոլորի նրանք (խմբ.՝ Իրանը) սկսեցին հրթիռային հարվածներ հասցնել կիսաչեզոք երկրներին։ Նրանք հարվածեցին Սաուդյան Արաբիային, Կատարին, ԱՄԷ-ին, Քուվեյթին, Բահրեյնին…. Եթե նրանք միջուկային զենք ունենային, ապա այն կօգտագործեին բոլորի դեմ», – ասել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը։
Իրանը բազմիցս հայտարարել է, որ Թեհրանը չի հարձակվել տարածաշրջանի որևէ երկրի վրա, այլ թիրախավորել է ամերիկյան ռազմաբազաները և ԱՄՆ-ի հետ կապված օբյեկտները։
