ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի USS Theodore Roosevelt ավիակիրն առաջիկա շաբաթներին կուղևորվի Մերձավոր Արևելք, որտեղ տեղակայված է մնալու առնվազն յոթ ամիս։ Այս մասին հայտնում է CNN-ը:

Ավիակրի կազմում շուրջ 5 հազար զինծառայող կա։ «Նրանք գիտեն, որ այնտեղ լինելու են ավելի քան յոթ ամիս։ Պլանավորման համար հրամանատարը նրանց ութ ամիս է տվել»,- հայտնել է ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի ներկայացուցիչը:

USS Theodore Roosevelt-ի առաջիկա տեղակայումը տեղի է ունենում այն պայմաններում, երբ ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերը փորձում են հաղթահարել տարածաշրջանում երկարատև տեղակայումների հետևանքները։ Մասնավորապես՝ USS Abraham Lincoln ավիակիրը Մերձավոր Արևելքում ավելի քան 250 օր անցկացրել էր ծովում՝ առանց նավահանգիստ մտնելու։

Երկարատև առաքելությունը մտահոգություններ էր առաջացրել զինծառայողների հոգեկան առողջության վերաբերյալ։ Լուրեր էին շրջանառվել զինծառայողների շրջանում ինքնասպանության փորձերի վերաբերյալ: Հաղորդվել էր նաև պաշարների պակասի մասին:

Նախորդ շաբաթ USS Abraham Lincoln-ին փոխարինել է USS George Washington ավիակիրը։ USNI News-ի տեղեկություններով՝ USS Theodore Roosevelt-ը պետք է փոխարինի USS George Washington-ին։

ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի գործողությունների ղեկավար, ծովակալ Դերիլ Քոլը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում խոստովանել է, որ Իրանի դեմ պատերազմը լրացուցիչ ծանրաբեռնվածություն է ստեղծել ամերիկյան նավատորմի համար։

Նրա խոսքով՝ ռազմածովային ուժերը կփորձեն ավելի կանխատեսելի դարձնել զինծառայողների տեղակայման ժամկետները, սակայն ռազմական գործողությունների պահանջները կարող են փոխել նախապես մշակված ծրագրերը։

«Ես կնախընտրեի յոթամսյա տեղակայումներ։ Սովորաբար երկարաձգումների մեծ կողմնակից չեմ և կտրուկ դեմ եմ արտահայտվում դրանց։ Բայց հակառակորդն էլ իր խոսքն ունի»,- Քոլի խոսքերը փոխանցել է USNI News-ը։
