Ինդոնեզիայի Կոմոդո կղզում զբոսաշրջիկը ափին հայտնաբերել է մոտ 4 մետր երկարությամբ սատկած թագավորական թիաձուկ։ Հազվագյուտ խորջրյա ձկան հայտնվելը ափին անհանգստություն է առաջացրել տեղի բնակիչների շրջանում, քանի որ այն ժողովրդական պատկերացումներում կապվում է աղետների և անգամ աշխարհի վերջի հետ։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Daily Mail-ը։

Ձուկը հայտնաբերել է կղզու ափին ճամբարած զբոսաշրջիկը։ Սատկած թիաձկան հայտնվելու մասին տեղեկությունը արագ տարածվել է, իսկ տեղի բնակիչների շրջանում այն իրարանցում է առաջացրել։

Թագավորական թիաձկները հիմնականում ապրում են մեծ խորություններում՝ ավելի քան 900 մետր ջրի տակ, և չափազանց հազվադեպ են հայտնվում ծովի մակերեսին կամ ափերին։ Հենց այդ անսովոր հանգամանքն էլ դարեր շարունակ նպաստել է դրանց շուրջ տարբեր լեգենդների ու հավատալիքների ձևավորմանը։ Դրանց ափին հայտնվելը որոշ մշակույթներում համարվում է բնական աղետի հնարավոր նախանշան։

Սակայն ձկան այս «չարագուշակ» համբավը կարող է ունենալ նաև գիտական բացատրություն։

Ճապոնացի երկրաբան Կիյոշի Վադացումին ենթադրել է, որ թիաձկները, ծովի հատակին մոտ ապրելու պատճառով, կարող են ավելի զգայուն լինել տեկտոնական թիթեղների շարժումների նկատմամբ։

Նրա վարկածի համաձայն՝ այդ զգայունությունը կարող է պատճառ դառնալ, որ ձկները որոշակի փոփոխությունների դեպքում փոխեն իրենց վարքագիծը և բարձրանան դեպի ջրի վերին շերտեր։ Այդ պատճառով էլ նրանց հայտնվելը երբեմն կապվում է երկրաշարժերի և այլ բնական աղետների հետ։

Այնուամենայնիվ, թիաձկների՝ բնական աղետները «կանխատեսելու» մասին պնդումը գիտականորեն հաստատված փաստ չէ և շարունակում է մնալ վարկածի մակարդակում։
