Աշխարհը մտել է «ծայրահեղ եղանակային պայմանների վտանգավոր գոտի». ամբողջ մոլորակում սկսել են զգալ Էլ Նինյոյի ազդեցությունը, զգուշացրել է ՄԱԿ գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիու Գուտերեշը։ ՄԱԿ-ի Համաշխարհային օդերևութաբանական կազմակերպության (WMO) կանխատեսմամբ՝ այն կարող է շարունակվել առնվազն մինչև 2027 թ. փետրվարը և դառնալ 1950 թվականից ի վեր ամենաուժեղ Էլ Նինյոն։ Այս մասին հաղորդում է BBC-ն։

Էլ Նինյոն բնական կլիմայական երևույթ է, այն ձևավորվում է Խաղաղ օվկիանոսում և կապված է քամու հոսանքների փոփոխության հետ. տաք ջրերը շարժվում են դեպի արևելք՝ լրացուցիչ ջերմություն արձակելով մթնոլորտ։

Վերջին ամիսներին Խաղաղ օվկիանոսի կենտրոնական և արևելյան հատվածներում ծովի մակերևույթի ջերմաստիճանը միջինից ավելի քան 2°C բարձր է եղել։ Կանխատեսումների համաձայն՝ այն որոշ շրջաններում կարող է հասնել գրեթե 4°C-ի։

Էլ Նինյոն կարող է տարբեր տարածաշրջաններում տարբեր հետևանքներ ունենալ՝ երաշտներ ու անտառային հրդեհներ մի շարք երկրներում, իսկ այլ շրջաններում՝ հորդառատ անձրևներ, ջրհեղեղներ և ավելի ուժեղ թայֆուններ։ Հարավարևելյան Ասիայի, Կենտրոնական Ամերիկայի և Հարավային Ամերիկայի հյուսիսային հատվածներում սպասվում է սովորականից ավելի չոր եղանակ։

Ինդոնեզիայում այս չոր սեզոնին հրդեհներն արդեն տարածվել են ավելի քան 107 000 հեկտարի վրա։ Պանամայի ջրանցքում սպասվող տեղումների նվազման պատճառով անցնող նավերի թիվը սեպտեմբերի 3-ին կկրճատվի ավելի քան 10%-ով։ Ջրանցքից տարեկան օգտվում է մոտ 14 000 նավ։ Այն Պանամայի համար եկամտի կարևոր աղբյուր է և երկրին բերում է տարեկան մոտ 3 միլիարդ դոլար։

Չինաստանն իր հերթին այս տարի սպասում է յոթ թայֆունի։ Հուլիսին երկրում երեք թայֆուն է տեղի ունեցել։ Օգոստոսին թայֆունի պատճառով ավելի քան մեկ միլիոն մարդ է տարհանվել։

Սովորականից ավելի խոնավ պայմաններ են կանխատեսվում նաև Արևելյան Աֆրիկայի, Բրազիլիայի հարավի և ԱՄՆ-ի հարավային որոշ շրջանների համար՝ մեծացնելով ջրհեղեղների վտանգը։

Պերուում, Էկվադորում և Բրազիլիայի որոշ շրջաններում նույնպես արձանագրվել են ուժեղ տեղումներ, հեղեղումներ և սողանքներ։

Մասնագետների մտահոգությունն ուժեղանում է նաև գլոբալ տաքացման ֆոնին։ Գիտնականները նշում են, որ Էլ Նինյոյի բերած շոգը կարող է լրացուցիչ ծանրաբեռնել արդեն իսկ տաքացող մոլորակը։ WMO-ն կոչ է անում երկրներին ուժեղացնել վաղ նախազգուշացման համակարգերն ու նախապես պատրաստվել հնարավոր աղետներին։
