Մերձավոր Արեւելքն արագորեն զինվում Է

Տասը տարվա ընթացքում Մերձավոր Արեւելքի երկրներ սպառազինությունների արտահանումն աճել Է 61 տոկոսով: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին, ասված Է Ստոկհոլմի խաղաղության հիմնախնդիրների հետազոտման ինստիտուտի (ՍԽՀՀԻ) զեկույցում:
Վերջին հինգ տարվա ընթացքում Սաուդյան Արաբիան աշխարհում երկրորդն Է դարձել զենքի ներմուծվող մատակարարումների ծավալով: 2011-2015 թվականներին այս երկիր զենքի ներմուծումը 2006-ից մինչեւ 2010 թվականն ընդգրկող ժամանակաշրջանի համեմատությամբ աճել Է 275 տոկոսով:
Նույն այդ ժամանակահատվածում Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունների կողմից զենքի գնումներն ավելացել են 35 տոկոսով, իսկ Քատարի կողմից՝ 279 տոկոսով:
Եգիպտոս զենքի ներմուծումը տասը տարվա ընթացքում աճել Է 37 տոկոսով:
ՍԽՀՀԻ-ն փետրվարի 22-ին հերթական զեկույցն Է ներկայացրել զենքի համաշխարհային առեւտրի վերաբերյալ: Դրանում նշվում Է, որ այդ բնագավառում ամենախոշոր արտահանողներն են մնում ԱՄՆ-ը եւ Ռուսաստանը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Սկսած 2004 թվականից, զենքի առեւտրի ծավալը մշտապես աճել Է եւ 2011-2015 թվականներն ընդգրկող ժամանակաշրջանում նախորդ հինգամյակի համեմատությամբ ավելացել 14 տոկոսով: 2011-2015 թվականներին զենքի ամենախոշոր արտատանողները եղել են ԱՄՆ-ը, Ռուսաստանը, Չինաստանը, Ֆրանսիան եւ Գերմանիան: Այս երկրներին բաժին Է ընկնում այդ բնագավառում ընդհանուր վաճառքների 74 տոկոսը, միայն ԱՄՆ-ին եւ ՌԴ-ին՝ 58 տոկոսը:
Ռուսաստանը 2011-2015 թվականներին նախորդ հնգամյակի համեմատությամբ զենքի արտահանումն ավելացրել Է 28 տոկոսով, իսկ զենքի գլոբալ առեւտրում նրա բաժինը վերջին հինգ տարում կազմել Է 25 տոկոս:
