«Հաշվի առնելով Նորատ Տեր-Գրիգորյանցի փորձն ու տարիքը, նրա անցած ճանապարհը՝ ՀՀ քաղաքացիությունից հրաժարվելու նրա քայլը ահազանգ է հայ ժողովրդին։ Ես անձամբ պատիվ եմ ունեցել ճանաչելու և շփվելու Նորատ Տեր-Գրիգորյանցի հետ։ Շփումը քիչ է եղել, բայց շատ տպավորված եմ»,- MediaHub-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց պատերազմի վետերան Մանուկ Ասլանյանը։

Սովետական բանակի և Հայաստանի պաշտոնաթող գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Նորատ Տեր-Գրիգորյանցը կարևոր դեր է ունեցել 1992-1995 թվականներին Արցախյան ազատամարտի ընթացքում Հայաստանի զինված ուժերի զարգացման և բանակաշինության գործում։

«Ինձ համար մեծ ցավ է, որ նա մի քանի թուրքերի ստրուկների պատճառով հրաժարվել է մեր երկրի քաղաքացիությունից։ ՀՀ քաղաքացիությունից հրաժարվելու նրա որոշումը լուրջ ազդակ է պարունակում։ Ինձ համար իսկապես մեծ պատիվ է եղել ճանաչել նրան։ Նա մեծ ավանդ ունի մեր հաղթանակների կերտման գործում։ Նա սովորական զինվորական չէ և հենց այնպես ոչինչ չէր անի։ Գեներալի յուրաքանչյուր քայլը հաշվարկված է»։

Նորատ Տեր-Գրիգորյանցը եղել է այն տասնյակ հայ բարձրաստիճան զինվորականներից մեկը, որն ընդունել է անկախ Հայաստանի առաջին կառավարության խնդրանքը, թողել Ռուսաստանը և եկել Հայաստան՝ իր ներդրումն ունենալու բանակաշինության գործում։

Այսօր, սակայն, հայ հանրության մի հատվածը նրան մեղադրում է՝ «ռուսաստրուկ», «դավաճան» կամ «Պուտինի ստրուկ» արտահայտություններով։

«Կարծում եմ՝ մեր հասարակությունը մի օր կարթնանա թմբիրից ու կհասկանա, թե ովքեր են իրական հերոսները, եթե, իհարկե, ուշ չլինի։ Նորից եմ ասում՝ գեներալի քայլը մեզ պետք է սթափեցներ, ոչ թե նրա հասցեին «ախմախ բաներ» դուրս տանք»,- ասաց Ասլանյանը։
