Բոլոր ժամանակների փոփ-դիվան կյանքից հեռացավ փետրվարի 11-ին 48 տարեկան հասակում: 411 մրցանակների դափնեկիրն ու միլիոնավոր մարդկանց կուռքը մահացավ լոգարանում` թմրադեղերի ու բժշկական հաբերի գերդոզավորումից:

Ամերիկյան «Beastie Boys» խմբի հիմնադիր, երաժիշտ, ռեփեր, «սպիտակ ռեփ»-ի առաջամարտիկը մահացավ մայիսի 4-ին 47 տարեկանում` չկարողանալով հաղթահարել թքագեղձի չարորակ ուռուցքը:

63-ամյա «դիսկոյի թագուհի», «Գրեմմիի» վեցակի մրցանակակիր ամերիկյան փոփ-երգչուհին կյանքից հեռացավ մայիսի 17-ին թոքերի քաղցկեղից:

Հուլիսի 16-ին ենթաստամոքսային գեղձի քաղցկեղից մահացավ 71-ամյա լեգենդար բրիտանական ռոք-երաժիշտ, «Deep Purple» և «Whitesnake» ռոք-խմբերի ստեղնաշարահարը:

Նոր սերնդին շատ քիչ բան է ասում այս անուն-ազգանունը: Սակայն ավագ սերունդը հաստատ հիշում է սովետական «Ласковый май» խմբի բոլոր անդամներին: Այս մանկատան երեխաներից կազմված խումբը, որն առաջինը ԽՍՀՄ-ում հանդես եկավ եվրոդիսկո ոճում, դարձավ շատ ու շատ համերկրացիների կուռքը: Իսկ ահա այդ խմբի առաջին կազմի մենակատարներից երկու դուստրերի հայր, 41-ամյա Յուրին 2012 թ. օգոստոսի 25-ին դժբախտաբար զոհվեց ավտովթարի հետևանքով:

Դեկտեմբերի 10-ին, 81-ամյա հասակում ծերունական մահով կյանքից հեռացավ ԽՍՀՄ ժողովրդական արտիստուհի, ՌԴ կառավարության մրցանակակիր, օպերային երգչուհի, «Большой театр»-ի մեներգչուհի Գալինա Վիշնեվսկայան:
Ֆլորա Մարտիրոսյան
Նոյեմբերի 20-ին 55 տարեկան հասակում լեղապարկի վիրահատությունից հետո առաջացած բարդությունների հետևանքով կյանքից վաղաժամ հեռացավ ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստուհի, երգչուհի Ֆլորա Մարտիրոսյանը: Նրա կորուստը մեծ ցնցում էր հայ ազգի, հայ մշակույթի ու հայ մշակույթը սիրող ու գնահատող յուրաքանչյուր մարդու համար:
