Հայաստանում Ուիլսոնը հանդիպել է տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարարության ներկայացուցիչ Նարեկ Ապիտոնյանի հետ։ Քննարկումները տեղի են ունեցել Մեծամորի գործող ատոմակայանին փոխարինող նոր միջուկային կայանի կառուցման տարբերակների ուսումնասիրության պայմաններում։

 

ԱՄՆ-ն նոր քայլեր է ձեռնարկում Կենտրոնական Ասիայում և Կովկասում ամերիկյան միջուկային տեխնոլոգիաների կիրառությունն ընդլայնելու ուղղությամբ։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Eurasianet -ը։

 

ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտի փոխպետքարտուղարի օգնական Շոնա Ուիլսոնը վերջերս այցելել է Հայաստան և Ղազախստան՝ քննարկելու միջուկային էներգետիկայի ոլորտում համագործակցության խորացման հնարավորությունները։

 

Հիշեցնենք, որ փետրվարին ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Դի Վենսի՝ Երևան կատարած այցի ընթացքում Հայաստանն ու Միացյալ Նահանգները միջուկային համագործակցության համաձայնագիր են կնքել։ Իսկ Ղազախստանը դեռևս 2025 թվականի վերջին ԱՄՆ-ի հետ պայմանավորվել էր միջուկային ոլորտի մասնագետների վերապատրաստման հարցում։

 

Ամերիկյան կողմի ուշադրության կենտրոնում հատկապես փոքր մոդուլային միջուկային ռեակտորների կառուցումն ու անվտանգ շահագործումն է։

 

Նշենք նաև, որ Ղազախստանում հոկտեմբերի 27-ին կայացած բանակցությունների ընթացքում կողմերը վերահաստատել են միջուկային էներգիայի խաղաղ օգտագործման ոլորտում համագործակցությունը զարգացնելու պատրաստակամությունը։
