«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

 Դժվար է պատկերացնել ժամանակակից աշխարհն առանց էլեկտրական սարքերի, որոնք հեշտացնում են մեր առօրյան։ Տնային տնտեսուհիների կյանքը հեշտացնելու համար ստեղծված սարքերից է նաև ձուեփիչը: Ժամանակի ընթացքում այդ սարքի միայն արտաքին բաղադրիչներն են փոխվել, դարձել ավելի կոմպակտ, գեղեցիկ և էրգոնոմիկ, հայտնվել են խելացի մոդելներ, որոնք կառավարվում են համակարգչի կողմից՝ առանց մարդու միջամտության:

Ձվի օգուտները բոլոր բժիշկները բարձր են գնահատել դեռ 18-րդ դարից սկսած: Վիտամինների, հանքանյութերի, սպիտակուցների և ամինաթթուների օպտիմալ պարունակությունը թույլ է տալիս ձուն համարել ամենաօգտակար և հեշտ մարսվող մթերքներից մեկը։ Ավանդական սննդակարգով խորհուրդ է տրվում ամեն առավոտ ուտել եփած ձու. այն առողջարար է և հագեցնող։ Բայց ինչպե՞ս եփել ձվերը մեծ ընտանիքի համար: Ձուեփիչը հեշտացնում է դա, իսկ ներկառուցված «թայմերի» շնորհիվ խնայում է ժամանակն ու էլեկտրաէներգիան։

Ձվերը սովորական եղանակով եփելու համար օգտագործում են կաթսա և ջուր, բայց ձուեփիչում այն եփվում է գոլորշու միջոցով: Սովորական եղանակով ձու եփելիս ջուրը հաճախ է թափանցում ձվի կեղևի միջով, իսկ եռացող ջրի հետ աշխատելն անհարմար է, մեծ է վնասվածքների և այրվածքների վտանգը։

Առաջին ձուեփիչն, ըստ էության, կաթսա էր, որի մեջ ջուր էին լցնում, վրան ձվերով ցանց էին դնում, և ամբողջը ծածկում կափարիչով։ Այդ առաջին մոդելի դեպքում մարդու մասնակցությունը չէր բացառվում, անհրաժեշտ էր վերահսկել ձվերի պատրաստությունը և ջրի եռալը։ Անցումը վառարանից և գազից էլեկտրական պատրաստման եղանակներին հնարավորություն տվեց ձուեփիչներում ներկառուցել ժամանակի և ջերմաստիճանի կարգավորիչներ։ Այդ դեպքում հնարավոր դարձավ վերացնել մարդու մասնակցությունը ձվի եփման գործընթացին։

Ձուեփիչների հիմնական տարրերը մինչ օրս էլ չեն փոխվել: Ժամանակակից ձուեփիչները ևս ունեն ջրի տարա, ցանց և կափարիչ: Ջեռուցման տարրն անջատվում է, հենց որ ամբողջ ջուրը գոլորշիանում է։ Իր կոմպակտության շնորհիվ այդ սարքը կարող եք ձեզ հետ տանել գործուղման կամ օգտագործել այն պայմաններում, որտեղ խոհանոց չկա։

Ժամանակակից ձուեփիչը համեմատաբար էժան սարք է, բայց այն էականորեն հեշտացնում է կյանքը: Այն օգտագործելիս անհնար է եռման ջրով այրվել կամ ջարդել ձվերը։ Ներկառուցված «թայմերը» թույլ է տալիս մոռանալ գործընթացի մասին, մինչև նախաճաշը պատրաստ կլինի։ Այդ օգտակար գյուտի շնորհիվ հնարավոր է արագ և առանց ավելորդ ծախսերի, օրինակ՝ Զատկի տոնին պատրաստել շատ խաշած ձու։
