ՄԻԵԴ-ը երկու տարբեր գործերով դատապարտել է Թուրքիային

 Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանը Թուրքիային դատապարտող միանգամից երկու որոշում է կայացրել:Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է թուրքական «Հուրիեթ» պարբերականը:

Առաջին դատական գործը վերաբերում է Սելմա Ջիվեքին, ով իր ամուսնու՝ Հուսեյն Ջիվեքի կողմից ամուսնության ընթացքում բռնության է ենթարկվել: 2009 թվականին նա ստիպված է եղել տեղափոխվել Անկարայում բռնություններից տուժած կանանց կենտրոն: Տուն վերադառնալուց հետո կրկին ամուսնու կողմից բռնության է ենթարկվել, ինչի հետևանքով որոշում է կայացրել ամուսնալուծվել: 2010 թվականի հոկտեմբերին նա բողոք է ներկայացրել դատարանին, որի հիման վրա Հուսեյնին ձերբակալել են և ստիպել հեռանալ տանից: Նոյեմբերին ամուսինն ազատվում է բանտից և կրկին բռնություն կիրառում կնոջ նկատմամբ: Սելման կրկին դիմում է դատարան: 2011 թվականի հունվարին Հույեսն  Ջիվեքը, փողոցում 22 անգամ դանակահարելով կնոջը, սպանում է նրան, ինչից հետո դատապարտվում է ազատազրկման: Սելմայի երեխաները 2011 թվականի հուլիսին երկու բողոքով դիմում են ՄԻԵԴ: Նրանք նախ նշել են, որ պետությունը չի պաշտպանել իր քաղաքացուն, թեպետ պարտավոր է եղել՝ հաշվի առնելով ներկայացված բողոքի դիմումները: Եվ երկրորդ՝ նրանք փաստել են, որ Սելմա Ջիվեքը ենթարկվել է սեռական խտրականության: Այդպիսով խախտվել են Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական համաձայնագրի 2-րդ (ապրելու իրավունքը ե րաշխավորող) և 14-րդ (խտրականությունն արգելող) հոդվածները: ՄԻԵԴ-ը բավարարել է ներկայացված դիմումը՝ դատապարտելով Թուրքիային եվրոպական համաձայնագիրը չկատարելու և դրա դրույթները խախտելու մեջ:

Մյուս դատական գործն առնչվում է Ջեյդա Էվրիմ Չամին, ով տեսողական խնդիրներ ունի, ինչի հետևանքով նրան 2004 թվականին չեն ընդունել երաժշտական դպրոց: ՄԻԵԴ-ը Թուրքիային պարտավորեցրել է Չամին վճարել 13 հազար եվրո փոխհատուցում:
