«Վահան Բաբայան-ԲՀԿ ֆրակցիա վեճն սկսվել է այն պահից, երբ նա Միքայել Մելքումյանի ձեռից բռնած, առանց ֆրակցիային տեղյակ պահելու, հայտնվել է կառավարությունում՝ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի մոտ, թե եկել ենք նախարար դառնանք։ Այդ ժամանակ արդեն ֆրակցիայում որոշում կար՝ վերցնել խոսնակի պաշտոնը նրանից, սակայն որոշման կատարումը ձգվել է։ Նախօրեին արդեն ինքը՝ Բաբայանը, հրաժարվեց այդ ոչինչ չտվող պաշտոնից։ Հիմա ոնց՝ դո՛ւրս եք գալու ԲՀԿ-ից, դիմեցինք Վահան Բաբայանին։ «Ժամանակն ամեն ինչ ցույց կտա»։ Ասում են՝ հին օրերում, երբ «Հանրապետություն» կուսակցության Երիտթևի առաջնորդն էիք,
