Այս պատմությունը տեղի է ունեցել Ֆլորիդա նահանգի Պանամա-Սիթի քաղաքում: Տեղի քահանա Ջոն Ռ. Ռեմզին եկեղեցու մոտ ցածր դասարանի մի աշակերտի հադիպեց: Երեխան քահանայից ծաղիկ խնդրեց և բացատրեց, թե ինչի համար է այն իրեն պետք:

Տղայի խոսքերը շատ հուզեցին քահանային: Կատարելով տղայի խնդրանքը՝ Ջոն Ռ. Ռեմզին որոշեց կիսվել այդ պատմությունով ուրիշների հետ: Նա հրապարակեց այդ հուզիչ պատմությունը իր Facebook-ի էջում, որը բուռն արձագանքների արժանացավ, և մի քանի օրերի ընթացքում հազարավոր «like»-եր հավաքեց և տարածվեց աշխարհով մեկ:

«Մի օր, երբ ես գնում էի կիրակնօրյա ծառայության, ինձ մոտեցավ անծանոթ մի տղա: Նա 10 տարեկանից մեծ չէր երևում: Ինձ բարևելով՝ նա հարցրեց. «Ներեցեք, պարոն, ի՞նչ եք պատրաստվում անել այդ ծաղկի հետ»:

Սկզբում ես նույնիսկ չհասկացա, թե ինչի մասին է խոսքը: Միայն մի քանի վայրկյան հետո ես հասկացա, որ նա հետաքրքված էր կրծքիս ամրացված ծաղիկով, բուտոնիերկայով: «Դու սա՞ նկատի ունես», – հարցրեցի տղային՝ մատնացույց անելով կոստյումիս ամրացված ծաղիկը:

«Այո, պարոն: Եթե դուք պատրաստվում եք դեն նետել այն, ապա չե՞ք կարող այն ինձ տալ», – պատասխանեց տղան: Ես ասացի, որ մեծ սիրով այն կտամ իրեն, եթե նա ասի, թե ինչի համար է այն իրեն պետք:

«Ես պատրաստվում եմ այն նվիրել իմ տատիկին: Իմ հայրիկն ու մայրիկը անցյալ տարի ամուսնալուծվել են: Սկզբում ես ապրում էի մայրիկիս հետ: Բայց հետո նա նորից ամուսնացավ և ինձ ուղարկեց հայրիկիս մոտ ապրելու: Ես մի փոքր ապրեցի հայրիկիս հետ, բայց նա ժամանակ չուներ ինձ դաստիարակելու, խնամելու: Այդ պատճառով էլ ես տեղափոխվեցի տատիկիս մոտ:

Տատիկս շատ բարի է իմ նկատմամբ: Նա ինձ համար համեղ ուտելիքներ է պատրաստում և հոգ է տանում իմ մասին: Նա այնքան բարի է, որ ես դրա համար ցանկանում եմ նրան ծաղիկ նվիրել», – պատասխանեց տղան:

Երբ տղան ավարտեց խոսքը, իմ աչքերում արցունքներ հայտնվեցին, և ես դժվարությամբ էի կարողանում խոսել: Ես առանձնացրեցի ծաղիկն իմ կոստյումից և ցանկանում էի տալ տղային, սակայն փոշմանեցի:

Ես նայեցի տղայի աչքերի մեջ և ասացի. «Սրանք՝ երբևէ իմ լսած ամենահաճելի խոսքերն էին: Ես չեմ կարող տալ քեզ այս ծաղիկը: Բայց եկեղեցում՝ ամբիոնի կողքին, մի հսկայական գեղեցիկ ծաղկեփունջ կա: Խնդրում եմ, այն կարող ես վերցնել: Քանի որ քո տատիկն ամենալավին է արժանի»:

Տղան սկզբում շփոթվեց, իսկ հետո ինձ շնորհակալություն հայտնեց և ասաց. «Ինչպիսի հիանալի օր է: Ես մեկ ծաղիկ խնդրեցի, իսկ փոխարենը մեծ ծաղկեփունջ ստացա»:

Ջոն Ռեմզիի պատմությունը ևս մեկ անգամ ապացուցում է, որ բարի գործ անելը հեշտ է և հաճելի:
