ԼՂ հակամարտության կողմերը պետք է հաստատեն ԼՂ խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման հարցում առաջընթացի հասնելու իրենց հավատարմությունը: Այս մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի Արեւելյան եվրոպայի, Կովկասի եւ տարածաշրջանային հակամարտությունների հարցերով օգնականի տեղակալ Էրիկ Ռուբինը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Բրուքինգսի ինստիտուտում:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է NEWS.am-ի թղթակիցը Վաշինգթոնից, Ռուբինն ընդգծել է, որ ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանն այլընտրանք գոյություն չունի:
«Մենք այդ հարցը քննարկում ենք արդար, խաղաղ, երկարատեւ, փոխընդունելի լուծման հասնելու դիրքերից: Հենց այդ դիրքերից էլ պետք է ելնեն բոլոր կողմերը, քանի որ այլ ավելի լավ լուծում գոյություն ունի, իսկ մնացած բոլոր այլընտրանքներն այնքան սարսափելի են, որ անգամ չարժե դրանք քննարկել»,-ընդգծել է Ռուբինը:
Ընդ որում, բարձրաստիճան ամերիկացի դիվանագետը հավելել է, որ չնայած դա հեշտ չէ, բայց ԱՄՆ-ը հույս ունի, որ կողմերը կհաստատեն խաղաղության հասնելու իրենց ձգտումը:
«Դա հեշտ չէ. կարգավորման հասնելու համար կողմերը պետք է բարդ ընտրություն կատարեն մի շարք հարցերում: Հենց այդ պատճառով էլ դեռեւս լուծման չեն հասել»,-հավելել է Էրիկ Ռուբինը:
Նրա խոսքով, ԱՄՆ-ը ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի մյուս երկու համանախագահների հետ միասին կշարունակի ամեն կերպ աջակցել ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը: Հատկապես կարեւոր են համանախագահող երկրների ջանքերը հակամարտության սրումը կանխարգելելու գործում:
«Մենք միանշանակ հայտարարում ենք, որ խիստ կարեւոր է, որ երկու երկրները անեն ամեն հնարավորը՝ իրավիճակը չլարելու համար: Իսկ նման լարված ու վտանգավոր ժամանակներում միջադեպերից խուսափելը խիստ կարեւոր է»,-ընդգծել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարության ներկայացուցիչը:
