Ինչո՞ւ են երկար ոտքերը սեքսուալ թվում

Հաճախ կարելի է հանդիպել աղջիկների ու կանանց` 10-20 սմանոց կրունկներ ունեցող կոշիկներով: Ու առաջինն ինչ աչքի է ընկնում նման դեպքերում (եթե բաց թողնենք դինոզավրի քայլվածքը) տվյալ աղջկա հասակն ու ոտքերի երկարությունն է կամ, ավելի ճիշտ, դրա իմիտացիան, ինչի համար էլ այդ աղջիկն այդքան տանջվում է, որպեսզի իրեն Ա կետից հասցնի Բ կետ:
Սակայն որտեղի՞ց է այդ ձգտումը` ունենալ երկար ոտքեր, իսկ եթե չունես` ցույց տալ, որ ունես: Շատերը միգուցե հիմա ասեն` ժամանակակից մեդիան է այդ կերպարը մատուցում երկար ոտքեր ունեցող մոդելների վիզուալ կերպարներով, մյուսները երևի պնդեն, որ այդ անխիղճ տղամարդկանց է դա դուր գալիս, կանայք էլ չարչարվում են և այլն: Սակայն, իրական պատճառներն ավելի քան հասարակ են: Կանանց ձգտումը` ցուցադրել, որ իրենք ունեն երկար ոտքեր, ավելի շատ կապված է բնազդների հետ: Մեզ ավելի նման կաթնասունների, օրինակ` կապիկների մոտ, սեռական հասունացման ժամանակ վեջույթները սկսում են երկարել:
Ինչ վերաբերվում է ժամանակակից մարդուն` մեզ մոտ էլ է այդպես: Ու փորձելով ցուցադրել իր ոտքերի երկարությունը` կինը բնազդաբար ձգտում է ցուցադրել իր սեռական հասունությունը, ինչն էլ, տղամարդիկ, նույն բնազդներով առաջնորդվելով, նման կնոջն ընկալում են որպես հմայիչ ու սեքսուալ: Այսինք` բնազդային մակարդակում այդ աղջիկը/կինը ընկալվում է` որպես պատրաստ ռեպրոդուկտիվ գործառույթ իրականացնելու: Չնայած պետք է նշել, որ կարճահասակ կանայք ավելի կրքոտ, նուրբ ու կանացի են, նրանց հետ թե՛ սեքսը, թե՛ հարաբերություններն ավելի հաճելի ընթացք են ստանում: Դա կապված է էստրոգեն կանացի հորմոնի մակարդակով` նույն սեռական հասունացման տարիքում: Այդ հորմոնը ինչ-որ կերպ ազդեցություն է ունենում նաև ոտքերի աճի վրա: Այն կանանց մոտ, ում մոտ այդ հորմոնի պակաս կա, ոտքերն ավելի երկար են լինում, իսկ իրենք էլ համեմատաբար ավելի քիչ են կանացի լինում: Սակայն, եթե կանգնած են երկու կին` մեկը կարճահասակ, մյուսը` երկար ոտքեր ունեցող, առավել պրիմիտիվ տղամարդիկ միանգամից բնազդաբար ձգվելու են դեպի երկար ոտքեր ունեցողը: Այստեղից էլ կարծրատիպ, որ տղամարդկանց դուր են գալիս երկար ոտքերով կանայք:
Թերևս կարելի է եզրակացնել` նաև սրանով է պայմանավորված, որ մոդելներ ընտրելիս նախ ուշադրություն են դարձնում հասակին ու երկար ոտքերին, քանի որ որոշ ժամանակ անց այդ մոդելը պետք է գովազդի որևէ ապրանք կամ ապրանքանիշ: Իսկ գովազդի հարցում կարևոր է նաև մարդկային բնազդների և կարծրատիպերի վրա ազդելը:
