Օրգանիզմը մաքրելու և բուժելու այս յուրօրինակ մեթոդը 1940թ. ստեղծել է Սթենլի Բորուն (Stanley Borough): Սկզբում այն օգտագործում էին ստամոքսի խոցերի և այլ հիվանդությունների դեպքում: Մեթոդի յուրօրինակությունն այն է, որ ամբողջ շաբաթվա ընթացքում պետք է խմել այս ըմպելիքից 12 բաժակ՝ առանց որևէ այլ բան ուտելու: Խմելու արդյունքում՝ Սթենլին նկատել է, որ հենց ըմպելիքը քաշը կորցնելու լավ միջոց է, նպաստում է ավելորդ կիլոգրամների արագ այրմանը:

Կիտրոնը բնական ճանապարհով մաքրում է աղիները, քանի որ իր մեջ պարունակում է մեծ քանակությամբ վիտամին C և կալիում: Սրանք բնական և հակաբակտերիալ նյութեր են, որոնք ոչնչացնում են մարսողական ինֆեկցիաները և ուժեղացնում իմունային համակարգը: Իսկ լավ մարսողության դեպքում կիլոգրամներն էլ ավելի արագ են այրվում:

- զտված ջուր
200 մգ սենյակային ջերմաստիճանի ջրին խառնեք մեղրը, ավելացրեք կիտրոնի հյութն ու կարմիր պղպեղը: Լավ խառնեք և լցրեք 1 լիտրանոց տարայի մեջ, վրան ջուր ավելացրեք:
