Ռուսաստանի կողմից տրամադրվող 200 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլարի չափով վարկը Հայաստանին հնարավորություն կտա ունենալ ավելի ժամանակակից զենք: Այս մասին այսօր՝ հուլիսի 16-ին, լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը:
«Համապատասխան համագործակցության շնորհիվ է, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարությունը ՌԴ-ի հետ հասել է նման պայմանավորվածության: Զինատեսակներն արդեն ընտրված են եւ ճշտգրտումները կատարվում են: Զենքերը ժամանակակից են, ավելի շատ պաշտպանողական եւ նաեւ կանխարգելիչ, որոնք էլ հիմք են դառնալու զսպման մեխանիզմների ստեղծման համար»,- ասաց պաշտպանության նախարարը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ հունիսի 26-ին Հայաստանի նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հանդիպել էր ՀՀ-ՌԴ միջեւ տնտեսական համագործակցության միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի ռուսական կողմի նախագահ, ՌԴ տրանսպորտի նախարար Մաքսիմ Սոկոլովի հետ: Հանդիպման ընթացքում որոշվել էր Ռուսաստանի կողմից Հայաստանին տրամադրել 200 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլարի չափով արտոնյալ արտահանման վարկ, ինչը թույլ կտա զգալիորեն ընդլայնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Զինված ուժերի զինանոցի ժամանակակից սպառազինման տեսականին:
