«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Փետրվարի 11-ին՝ ժամը 22-ի սահմաններում, ինքնաձիգի կրակոցից վիրավորվել, «աջ ստորին վերջույթի հրազենային վնասվածք» ախտորոշմամբ Դիլիջանի բժշկական կենտրոն է տեղափոխվել Դիլիջան քաղաքի բնակիչ, 27-ամյա Սերգեյ Միքայելյանը: Վերջինս ոստիկանններին ասել է, որ չի տեսել, թե ով է իր վրա կրակել: Այդ դեպքի կապակցությամբ քրեական գործ է հարուցվել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 34-104 հոդվածի 1-ին մասի հատկանիշներով (Սպանության փորձը) եւ 235 հոդվածի 1-ին մասով (Ապօրինի կերպով հրազեն, բացի ողորկափող հրազենից եւ դրա փամփուշտներից, ռազմամթերք, ակոսափող հրազենի փամփուշտներ, պայթուցիկ նյութեր կամ պայթուցիկ սարքեր ձեռք բերելը, իրացնելը, պահելը, փոխադրելը կամ կրելը): Քրեական գործի քննությունը կատարում է ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Տավուշի մարզային վարչության Դիլիջանի բաժինը:

Նշենք, որ Ս. Միքայելյանը ինքնաձիգի գնդակից վիրավորվել է, երբ գտնվել է ավտոմեքենայի մեջ: Գնդակը ծակել-անցել է ավտոմեքենայի դուռը եւ խոցել Սերգեյի ոտքը: Նա ի պատասխան՝ իր մոտ գտնվող  ինքնաձիգից օդ է կրակել: Իրավապահներից տեղեկացանք, որ  Սերգեյ Միքայելյանի դեմ կատարած մահափորձի կապակցությամբ որպես մեղադրյալ ներգրավվել է Դիլիջանի զինվորական կոմիսար, փոխգնդապետ Հովհաննես Հակոբյանի որդին՝ 26-ամյա Դավիթ Հակոբյանը: Վերջինս գտնվում է փախուստի մեջ: Հավանական է, որ քրեական գործ կհարուցվի նաեւ Սերգեյ Միքայելյանի հանդեպ: Քննությունը պետք է պարզի, թե որտեղից են ձեռք բերվել վերոհիշյալ 2 ինքնաձիգները»:
