Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պաշտպանական քաղաքականությունն իր մեջ ներառում է ոչ միայն բոլոր զորամիավորումները և սպառազինության մակարդակը, այլ բոլոր այն ոլորտները, որոնք ներդրում ունեն երկրի անվտանգության համակարգը ձևավորելու մեջ: ՀՀ Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայում գիտնականների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը: «Պաշտպանակա ն քաղաքականության իրականացման համար կարևոր ոլորտներ են տնտեսությունը, ներքին և արտաքին քաղաքականությունը, տեղեկատվության ողջ համակարգը, կրթության և գիտության ներուժի օգտագործումը և վերջում Զինված ուժերի կիրառումը: Պաշտպանության նախարարությունն իր գործունեությունը պետք է ծավալի բոլոր այս ուղղություններով: Հատկապես կարևոր է կրթության և գիտության ողջ ներուժի օգտագործումը՝ երկրի անվտանգությունն ապահովելու հարցում»,- նշեց Օհանյանը:

Նախարարի խոսքով` կրթության և գիտության ոլորտն ապահովում է բանակի առաջընթացը, նրա զարգացումը՝ այդ ամենը դնելով գիտական հենքի վրա: «Ես ակնկալում եմ, որ մենք համապատասխան միջոցառումներ կձեռնարկենք մեր համագործակցությունն էլ ավելի զարգացնելու առումով: Գիտության ոլորտի հնարավորությունների օգտագործումը բանակի առջև դրված խնդիները լուծելու համար շատ կարևոր նշանակություն ունի»,- շեշտեց նախարարը:

Սեյրան Օհանյանը հավելեց, որ համազորային մարտի ընթացքում երկու կարևոր գործոն կա, որոնք ապահովում են հաղթական ելքը: «Առաջինը մարդն է: Այսինքն, որքան զինվորը կրթված լինի և պատրաստ լինի նաև գաղափարապես, այնքան ավելի հեշտ կկարողանա իրականացնել իր առջև դրված խնդիրները: Երկրորդը սպառազինությունն է: Գիտեք, որ մենք մեր սպառազինության մեծ մասը ժառանգել ենք Խորհրդային միությունից, սակայն հիմա քայլեր ենք ձեռնարկում նաև արևմտյան չափանիշներին համապատասխան ժամանակակից սպառազինություն ձեռք բերելու, ինչպես նաև մեր սեփական ռազմական արդյունաբերÕ �ւթյունը զարգացնելու համար»,- եզրափակեց Օհանյանը:
