Մոսկվայում երեկ մեկնարկել է «Աերոֆլոտի» բաց մրցաշարը, եւ առաջին տուրում հաջող են հանդես եկել «A» մրցաշարում հանդես եկող հայ շախմատիստները: Գրոսմայստեր Ռոբերտ Հովհաննիսյանը առավելության է հասել Ալեքսանդր Պրեդկեի, գրոսմայստեր Տիգրան Լ. Պետրոսյանը՝ Յի Վանգի, իսկ ընդամենը օրեր առաջ ՖԻԴԵ-ի վարպետի կոչումը ստացած Հայկ Մարտիրոսյանը՝ Սերգեյ Ազարովի նկատմամբ: Օփենի երկրորդ տուրում բավականին դժվար խաղ է սպասվում Հայկ Մարտիրոսյանին (ռեյտինգը՝ 2425), որի 16-ամյակը կլրանա այս տարվա հուլիսին: Արտաշատցի միջազգային վարպետի մրցակիցը մրցաշարում ամենաբարձր գործակիցն ունեցող, 2012 թվականին աշխարհի չեմպիոնի կոչման հավակնորդ, 47-ամյա Բորիս Գելֆանդն է (2735): Հայկ Մարտիրոսյանը հայկական շախմատի գլխավոր հույսերից է, եւ հետաքրքիր պարտիա է սպասվում:
Նշենք նաեւ, որ երեկ «Աերոֆլոտ օփենի» «B» մրցաշարում հաղթանակներ են տարել Վահե Բաղդասարյանը, Տիգրան Հարությունյանը եւ Դավիթ Գեւորգյանը: «C» մրցաշարում պարտիան հաղթանակով է ավարտել Արթուր Ղարագյոզյանը:
