Սիրիայի ռազմաօդային ուժերը մարտի 3-ին հարված են հասցրել «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման՝ Իրաքի հետ սահմանամերձ Բու-Քեմալ քաղաքում գտնվող ռազմակայանին: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Ալ Մանար» հեռուստակայանին, օդային գրոհի ընթացքում ոչնչացվել Է զինյալների շտաբը, զոհվածների թվո ւմ Է ԻՊ-ի պարագլուխներից մեկը՝ Մադլյուլա ար Ռաբիան:

«Դեմոկրատական Սիրիայի ուժերի» (ԴՍՈւ) կազմավորումները, որոնց հենքը կազմում են քուրդ աշխարհազորայինները, սկսել են Հասեքե հյուսիսարեւելյան նահանգի՝ ԻՊ-ի ելուզակների կողմից գրավված շրջանների ազատագրման գործողությունը: Քուրդ մարտիկները հարձակում են ծավալել Ջեբել Աբդելազիզ լեռնային տեղանքից արեւելք ընկած Իմմ Միդֆաա եւ Զեյն Էլ Բուրջ բնակավայրերի ուղղությամբ, որտեղ տեղաբաշխված են ահաբեկիչների ճամբարները: Քրդերի ջոկատները նաեւ ձեռնամուխ են եղել Թել Աբյադ քաղաքի արվարձանները այնտեղ թուրքական սահմանով թափանցած ԻՊ-ի ելուզակներից մաքրելու գործողությանը:     

Դամասկոսի հարավում փախստականների Յարմուկ ճամբարում մարտի 2-ին բախումներ են սկսվել ԻՊ-ի զինված կողմնակիցների եւ «Ջեբհաթ ան Նուսրա»-ի ծայրահեղականների միջեւ: Երկու կողմերը, որոնք մրցում են ճամբարի վրա վերահսկողություն հաստատելու համար, կորուստներ են կրում, տեղեկացնում են ականատեսները: 

Հաղորգադրություններ են ստացվել Էլ Կունեյտրա քաղաքի արավարձանում իրականացված պայթյունի մասին, որն, ինչպես ենթադրվում Է, սարքել են ԻՊ-ի ահաբեկիչները: Դիվերսիայի հետեւանքով զոհվել են 20 զինյալներ, այդ թվում՝ «Սիրիայի ապստամբական ճակատի» հրամանատար Աբու Համզա ան Նուեյմին: Այս ընդդիմադիր զինված խմբավորումը թշնամաբար Է տրամադրված ԻՊ-ի նկատմամբ եւ համաձայնել Է հրադադար հաստատել կառավարական զորքերի հետ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
