Վերջին օրերին ես մեծ ուշադրությամբ հետևում էի գյումրեցի լուսանկարիչ Հայկ Բարսեղյանի և իր ընկերների կողմից նախաձեռնված ակցիային, որի նպատակն է՝ Գյումրիի 13 անօթևան ընտանիքի բնակարանով ապահովել: Ես ուղղակի հիացած եմ այս երիտասարդների անշահախնդիր նվիրվածությամբ, այն ոգևորությամբ, որով նրանք խնդրին տվեցին միջազգային հնչեղություն, այն նպատակասլացությամբ և վճռականությամբ, որով նրանք լծվել են գործի: Ես չէի կարող չարձագանքել, չէի կարող անմասն մնալ: Ես տրամադրում եմ անհրաժեշտ գումարը՝ Գյումրիի անօթևան երկու բազմազավակ ընտանիքների համար բնակարաններ ձեռք բերելու նպատակով: Ուզում եմ անձնապես դիմել այս ծրագրի հեղինակներին. սիրելի Հայկ և նախաձեռնության մյուս մասնակիցներ, դուք ձեր այս քայլով, ձեր հետևողականությամբ, մարդկային անկեղծությամբ ցույց եք տալիս, որ իսկապես մեր երկրում անլուծելի խնդիրներ չկան: Դուք ապացուցում եք, որ կարելի է ձևակերպել խնդիրը և հասնել լուծման։ Դուք գիտեք, որ ես Գյումրիի հանդեպ միշտ ունեցել եմ առանձնահատուկ վերաբերմունք, իսկ գյումրեցիների հանդեպ յուրահատուկ հարգանք ու սեր ունեմ: Միշտ պատրաստ եմ եղել օգտակար լինել՝ ուժերիս ներածին չափով: Մաղթում եմ ձեզ հաջողություն և դրված նպատակներին հասնելու կամք: Առաջիկայում սիրով ձեզ կհրավիրեմ միմյանց հետ ծանոթանալու և, ինչու չէ, նոր, հետաքրքիր ծրագրեր քննարկելու:
