Ճապոնիայի պրեֆեկտուրաների եւ քաղաքների իշխանությունների երկու երրորդը հանդես է գալիս ատոմային էներգետիկայից եւ ատոմային էլեկտրակայանների օգտագործումից երկրի կախվածության մակարդակի նվազեցման օգտին: Այդ մասին, վկայում են Կիոդո ճապոնակա ն գործակալության կողմից անցկացված հարցման տվյալները:
Հետազոտությունն անցկացվել է «Ֆուկուսիմա-1» ԱԷԿ-ում ողբերգության հինգերորդ տարելիցի նախօրեին, որը տեղի է ունեցել 2011 թվականի մարտի 11-ին: Նշվում է, որ տարածաշրջանային իշխանությունների 44,6 տոկոսը հանդես է գալիս ատոմակայաններից երկրի կախվածության կրճատման օգտին, իսկ եւս 21 տոկոսը՝ ավելի կոշտ դիրքորոշում ունի՝ պնդելով լիակատար հրաժարումն ատոմային էներգետիկայից: Հարցվածների գլխավոր անհանգստությունը պայմանավորված է կայանների անվտանգության, ինչպես նաեւ միջուկային թափոնների օգտահանման խնդրով:
Հարցարանն ուղարկվել էր երկրի տարածաշրջանային եւ մունիցիպալ բոլոր իշխանություններին, որոնց 99,6 տոկոսը պատասխան են ներկայացրել:
Նախքան «Ֆուկուսիմա-1» ատոմակայանում տեղի ունեցած վթարը Ճապոնիայի էներգահաշվեկշռում ատոմային էներգետիկային բաժին էր ընկնում շուրջ 30 տոկոսը: Ատոմային էներգետիկայից ժամանակավոր հարկադրական հրաժարման հետեւանքով երկիրն ստիպված էր էլեկտրիֆիկացման հիմնական բեռը դնել ջերմակայանների վրա: Չնայած այդ հարցի շուրջ հասարակության մեջ բացասական տրամադրությունների առկայությանը, Ճապոնիայի կառավարությունը տրամադրված է աստիճանաբար վերականգնել ատոմային էներգետիկան:
Այժմ երկրում գործում է երեք ռեակտոր՝ «Սենդայ» ԱԷԿ-ի (Կագոսիմայի պրեֆեկտուրա) երկու եներգաբլոկները վերագործարկվել են դեռ անցյալ տարի, իսկ «Տակահամա» ԱԷԿ-ի երրորդ ռեակտորը՝ այս տարվա սկզբին: Անցյալ ամսին տեղի է ունեցել «Տակահամա»-ի չորրորդ էներգաբլոկի վերագործարկումը, սակայն ընդամենը մի քանի օր անց այն կանգնեցվել է էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտադրության համակարգում ծագած խնդիրների պատճառով, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
