2. Տանզանիայում խոսում են ավելի քան 120 լեզուներով: Սրանցից շատերը պատկանում են Բանտու լեզվախմբին,որն ունի գրեթե 535 լեզու և բարբառ,որոնցով խոսում են ողջ Աֆրիկայում:
3. "Մփինգո" ծառերը, որոնք առավել հայտնի են որպես "African blackwood" ամենաթանկ փայտանյութն ունեն աշխարհում:
4. Աշխարհում առաջին մարդկային գանգը հայտնաբերվել է Տանզանիայում` Օլդուվայ կիրճում:
5. Տանզանիան ունի վայր բնության ու կենդանիների ամենամեծ խտությունը(1կմ² վրա կա ավելի քան 4 միլիոն վայրի կենդանի,կա նաև 430 տարբեր ցեղատեսակի ներկայացուցիչներ):
6. Կիլիմանջարո լեռը գտնվում է Տանզանիայում,որն ամենամեծ լեռն է Աֆրիկայում:
7. Տանզանիան կիսում է իր ազգային օրհներգը Հարավային Աֆրիկայի և Զիմբաբվեի հետ: Այն կոչվում է " Աստված օրհնի Աֆրիկան" և կազմված է Ենոուկ Սոնտոգենացու կողմից:
8 Տանզանիան բաժանված է 26 մարզերի,սրանք էլ իրենց հերթին բաժանված են 99 շրջանների :
9. Տանզանիան համարվում է կոկոսյան. խեցգետնի հայրենիքը: Այս խեցգետինը ամենամեծն է աշխարհում,և իհարկե ամենահամեղը:
10. Վայրի փղերի նախնիները,որոնք ապրում էին Տանզանիայում,չէին թափառում ցամաքում,այլ լողում էին ջրում: Դյուգոնները ջրային կովեր էին,որոնք ապրում էին 55 մ խորության վրա:
