«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Շաբաթ օրը «Ռոսիա մոլ»-ի բացման արարողությանը մասնակցում էր ոչ միայն ինքը՝ սեփականատեր Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանը, այլեւ հանրապետության նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը եւ գործարար Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը:

Այս առնչությամբ Միջազգային եւ անվտանգության հարցերի հայկական ինստիտուտի հիմնադիր, փորձագետ Ստեփան Սաֆարյանը մեզ հետ զրույցում նկատեց, «Ի նկատի ոնենալով եւ 2008-ի, եւ 2009-ի զարգացումները՝ բնականաբար, սա իր մեջ որոշակի քաղաքական բովանդակություն է պարունակում: Դա ցույց է տալիս, որ Հայաստանում բիզնեսը եւ գործարարներն ունեն երկու ճանապարհ՝ կա՛մ պետք է կորցնեն ունեցվածքը, կա՛մ լինեն իշխանությունների թիմի անդամ, բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունների մեջ նրանց հետ: Այլ ճանապարհ, ցավոք, Հայաստանում չկա»:

Ստեփան Սաֆարյանի խոսքով՝ իհարկե, սա վտանգավոր է Հայաստանի ժողովրդավարության զարգացման առումով, քանի որ այլ նորմալ երկրներում գործարարների թիվ մեկ գործընկերները համարվում են լոբբիստական խմբերը, քաղաքական կուսակցությունները, քաղաքացիական շարժումները, քանզի «բազմակարծության, մրցակցության խթանումը, հանրային քաղաքականության թափանցիկության բարձրացումը միանշանակ բխում են գործարարների շահերից եւ դառնում անուղղակի պաշտպանության միջոց»:

Ինչպես նկատեց պարոն Սաֆարյանը՝ մինչդեռ այս միջադեպը ցույց է տալիս, որ Հայաստանում, ցավոք, բիզնեսի պաշտպանության միակ ձեւը իշխանական հովանոցն է:

Դիտարկմանը՝ այս օրինակով կարծես վերջնականապես ի չիք դարձավ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի կողմից հնչեցված բուրժուադեմոկրատական հեղափոխության գաղափարը, որի հիմքը դրեց Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանը՝ 2008-ին անջատվելով իշխանությունից, եւ որի շարունակությունը պետք է լիներ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը, Ստեփան Սաֆարյանը նկատեց. «Ես ցավում եմ, որ գործարարներին խորհուրդ տվողները ժամանակին փորձում էին նրանց Խոդորկովսկի դարձնել: Մեզ համար պարզ էր, որ այդ ճանապարհը որդեգրած գործարարները կա՛մ գնում են զրկանքների ճանապարհով, ինչը շատ զարմանալի է՝ այդքան հեշտ հրաժարվել տարիներով կուտակածից, կա՛մ գնում են դեպի անհայտություն: Ուստի այս կտրվածքով ինձ չի զարմացնում այս միջադեպը: Զարմացած են նրանք, ովքեր միամտորեն հավատում էին, թե կարող է տեղի ունենալ բուրժուադեմոկրատական հեղափոխություն»:

Ստեփան Սաֆարյանի խոսքով՝ սա պետք էր Սերժ Սարգսյանին բացառապես 2017-ի համար. «Ապագայում կա նման ռիսկի զարգացման վտանգ, եւ նա փորձում է իսպառ վերացնել այդ ռիսկերը, որպեսզի որեւէ գործարար չմտածի ընդդիմադիր կուսակցության ֆինանսավորելու մասին: Ուստի Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանի եւ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի ընտրությունը, այս մեսիջը փոխանցելը պատահականություն չէր»:
