ԱՄՆ-ում ընտրողների մեծամասնությունը բացասաբար է վերաբերվում հանրապետականներից ու դեմոկրատներից այն թեկնածուներին, որոնք առաջատարն են երկրի նախագահի ընտրություններում իրենց կուսակցությունը նեկայացնելու իրավունքի համար մրցարշավում: Այդ մասին, վկայում են The Wall Street Journal թերթի եւ NBC հեռուստաընկերության կողմից համատեղ անցկացված հարցման հրապարակված արդյունքները:

«Այն բանի հեռանկարը, որ նախագահական պաշտոնի համար հիմնական պայքարը կծավալվի հանրապետական Դոնալդ Թրամփի եւ դեմոկրատների ներկայացուցիչ Հիլարի Քլինթոնի միջեւ, բացասաբար է ընկալվում ընտրազանգվածի մեծ մասի կողմից»,- նշվում է հետազոտության մեջ: Ընտրողների երկու երրորդը նշում է, որ երբեք չի աջակցի Թրամփին, իսկ հարցվածների 56 տոկոսը հայտարարում է, որ ոչ մի դեպքում չի քվեարկի Քլինթոնի օգտին:

Հարցման համաձայն՝ Թրամփին պաշտպանում է հանրապետական ընտրողների 30 տոկոսը, Տեխասի նահանգից սենատոր Թեդ Քրուզին՝ 27 տոկոսը, Ջոն Քեյսիկին աջակցությունը կազմում է 22 տոկոս, իսկ Ֆլորիդայից սենատոր Մարկո Ռուբիոյի օգտին իրենց ձայները կտային հանրապետականների 22 տոկոսը: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ բոլոր ընտրողների 64 տոկոսը բացասական վերաբերմունք ունի Թրամփի նկատմամբ, այդ թվում՝ հանրապետականների 43 տոկոսը: Ընդսմին ամերիկացիների 52 տոկոսն այն կածիքին է, որ Թրամփի նախագահ ընտրվելու դեպքում երկրում «խիստ բացասական փոփոխություններ տեղի կունենան»:

Բարդ է իրադրությունը նաեւ Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունում: Հարցման համաձայն՝ Վերմոնտի նահանգից սենատոր Բեռնի Սանդերսի՝ Հիլարի Քլինթոնի հիմնական մրցակցի կողմնակիցների մեկ երրորդն ասում է, որ մտադիր չէ նրա պարտվելու դեպքում քվեարկել ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին պետքարտուղարի օգտին: Մինչդեռ, ինչպես նշում են սոցիոլոգները, ընտրությունները շահելու համար Քլինթոնին անհրաժեշտ կլինի առնվազն ապահովել Սանդերսի աջակցությունը: Ներկայում Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունից գրանցված ընտրողների շրջանում հաջակցություն Քլինթոնի հանդես է գալիս հարցվածների 53 տոկոսը, Սանդերսի օգտին՝ 44 տոկոսը:

Մարտի 3-6-ին անցկացված հարցմանը մասնակցել են 1200 գրանցված ընտրողներ: Վիճակագրական սխալանքը գնահատվում է 2,83 տոկոս, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
