2015 թվականին Նյու Յորք են այցելել ռեկորդային թվով՝ 58,3 միլիոն զբոսաշրջիկներ: Մարտի 9-ին The New York Times թերթում հրապարակված հարցազրույցում, այս մասին հայտնել Է քաղաքի NYC & Company զբոսաշրջության եւ շուկայավարության գործակալության տնօրեն Ֆրեդ Դիքսոնը: Նրա խոսքով՝ քաղաքի իշխանությունն երն ակնկալում են, որ ընթացիկ տարում զբոսաշրջիկների հոսքը 2,4 տոկոսով ավելի կլինի եւ կկազմի 59,7 միլիոն: Խոսքը վերաբերում Է ինչպես Միացյալ Նահանգների մյուս քաղաքներից եկողներին, այնպես Էլ ամբողջ աշխարհից ժամանող զբոսաշրջիկներին:
Կանխատեսումների համաձայն՝ 2016 թվականին զբոսաշրջիկների ամենամեծ հոսքը բաժին կընկնի Չինաստանին: Ինչպես գտնում են փորձագետները, քաղաք կայցելեն շուրջ 920 հազար չինացիներ՝ 8,2 տոկոսով ավելի, քան մեկ տարի առաջ, իսկ 2018 թվականին Նյու Յորքում կլինի ՉԺՀ-ի՝ արդեն ավելի քան մեկ միլիոն բնակիչ: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ, Չինաստանն առայժմ միայն չորրորդն Է այն երկրների շարքում, որոնցում Նյու Յորքն առավել մեծ ժողովրդականություն Է վայելում: Մեգապոլիս ամենից շատ օտարերկրացիներ են ժամանում Անգլիայից, Կանադայից եւ Բրազիլիայից, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
