«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Սերժ Սարգսյանի մոսկովյան այս այցի օրակարգում եղել է մի շատ կարեւոր հարց, որի մասին որեւէ տեղեկատվություն չի հաղորդվել: Խոսքը ՀՀ-ին մատակարարվող ռուսական գազի գնի նվազեցման մասին է:

Իշխանական մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ՝ հարցը քննարկվել է, սակայն այդ մասին պաշտոնական տեղեկատվություն կհաղորդվի միայն այն դեպքում՝, եթե ռուսական կողմը տա գազը էժանացնելու համաձայնությունը:

Մեր տեղեկություններով, կան որոշակի հիմքեր՝ հույս ունենալու, որ գազի գինը կարող է նվազել: Համենայնդեպս հայկական կողմը ահագին «լավություններ» է արել նման որոշում ռուսներից պոկելու համար: Ամենակարեւոր քայլերից մեկն այն էր, որ արդեն մեկ տարի ՀՀ Հանրային ծառայությունները կարգավորող հանձնաժողովը չի վերանայել մեր խոշոր սպառողներին մատակարարվող գազի սակագինը:
Չնայած անցած տարվա հունվարի 1-ից ՌԴ-ն նվազեցրել էր գազի գինը, սակայն խոշոր սպառողներին գազը նախկինի պես վաճառվում է 272 դրամով:

Դրա արդյունքում ռուսական «Գազպրոմ» ընկերության բացարձակ սեփականությունը հանդիսացող «Գազպրոմ Արմենիան» այս ողջ ընթացքում ստացել է լրացուցիչ շահույթ:

Իսկ Սերժ Սարգսյանի այցից մեկ օր առաջ էլ ՀՀ կառավարությունը որոշեց այդ շահույթը ամբողջությամբ թողնել «Գազպրոմ Արմենիային»: Այս «լավությունները» կբավարարե՞ն ռուսական կողմից գազը էժանացնելու համար՝ պարզ կդառնա առաջիկայում»:
