Երևանի կրկեսի բացումը նախատեսվում է մինչև 2017 թվականի հոկտեմբեր ամիսը: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նշեցԵրևանի կրկեսի գեղարվեստականղեկավար, Հայաստանի կրկեսայինգործիչների միության նախագահ,պրոֆեսոր Սոս Պետրոսյանը:
«Ուղղակի ափսոսաÕ �ք եմ ապրում, որ անցյալ տարի Լեոնիդ Ենգիբարյանի 80- ամյակը պետականորեն չնշվեց: Բայց մենք ձեռքներս ծալած չնստեցինք, մեծ միջոցառումներ կազմակերպեցինք: Զորամասերում, մշակույթի տներում, գյուղերում մենք Ենգիբարյանին նվիրված հյուրախաղերով հանդես եկանք: Բայց դա, միևնույն է, քիչ էր, և մենք հրավիրեցինք «Շապիտո» կրկեսը, որը մոտ երեք ամիս ծրագիր ներկայացրեց Կոմիտասի այգում, ապա՝ Արցախում, Գյումրիում, Վանաձորում և այլ քաղաքներում: Մայրաքաղաքում մնջախաղի պետական թատրոնի գեղարվեստական ղեկավար Ժիրայր Դադասյանի հետ անցկացրեցինք միջոցառումներ՝ նվիրված Ենգիբարյանի 80-ամյակին: Նաև այս տարի Ծաղկաձորում կանցկացվի Լ.Ենգիբարյանի անվան թվով 5-րդ, արդեն ամենամյա մնջախաղի միջազգային փառատոնը», -«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց Սոս Պետրոսյանը:
Վերջինիս խոսքով, Երևանի նոր կրկեսը լինելու է համաշխարհային չափանիշներին համապատասխան: Ութհարկանի շենքի երկու հարկը կլինեն ստորգետնյա, իսկ վեցը՝ վերգետնյա: Նստատեղերի քանակը կլինի 2500, նախորդ շենքի 1563-ի փոխարեն: Տոմսերի գները կլինեն մատչելի: Մինչև 2022 թվականը արդեն կա գրված ծրագիր, հայտնի են այն կրկեսային և շոու ներկÕ �յացումները, որոնք հայ հանդիսատեսը հնարավորություն կունենա տեսնել:
Լեոնիդ Ենգիբարյանը ծնվել է 1935 թվականի մարտի 15-ին Մոսկվայում։ Ենգիբարյանների ընտանիքը ապրումէր Մոսկվայի Մարյինա Ռոշչայում, մեկ հարկանի փայտե տանը։
Մինչև իր կյանքը կրկեսին նվիրելը Ենգիբարյանը փորձել է մի քանի այլ մասնագիտություններ։ 1952
1952-1953 թթ. մրցաշրջանում Մոսկվայի բռնց
1955 թվականին Կրկեսային արվեստի պետական ուսումնարանում բացվում է կլոունադայի բաժին, և Լեոնիդն ընդունվում է այդտեղ։ 1959 թվականին, ավարտելով ուսումնարանը, գալիս է Երևան և ընդունվում հայկական կրկեսախումբ։ 1956 թվականից Լեոնիդը նկարահանվել է կինոյում։ 1958 թվականին նա հայտնվել էր «Կոմունիստ» ֆիլմի փոքրիկ մի դրվագում՝ մարմնավորելով կինոնկարի գլխավոր հերոսին սպանող հանցագործներից մեկի կերպարը։ 1962 թվականին արտիստին առաջարկեցին կինոյում խաղալ ինքն իրեն։
Հենրիկ Մալյանը և Լևոն Իսահակյանը մտահղացել էին ֆիլմ նկարել կրկեսի ծաղրածուի մասին և այն անվանել էին «Ճանապարհ դեպի կրկես» (1963 թվական)։
Ենգիբարյանի ստեղծագործական ուղին տևել է շատ կարճ, ընդամենը տասը տարի, և այդ տարիների ընթացքում նա հասցրել էդառնալ դասական:
Մահացել է 1972 թվականի, հուլիսի 25-ին Մոսկվայում:
