Սոցիոլոգ Ֆիլիպ Փեյսելի կարծիքով` կանայք բնավորությամբ չորս հիմնական տեսակների են բաժանվում՝ մայր, սիրուհի, ռազմուհի, դաստիարակ։

Մայրը հիմնական ուշադրությունը սևեռում է ընտանիք կազմելու, երեխաներ ունենալու ու դաստիարակելու վրա։

Սիրուհին գայթակղում ու փնտրում է սիրային կրքոտ արկածներ։

Ռազմուհին ձգտում է տարածքի գրավման ու իշխանության, պայքարում է հանուն գաղափարի, իրագործում է քաղաքական նպատակները։

Դաստիարակը հետաքրքրվում է արվեստով, հոգևոր ոլորտով կամ բժշկությամբ։ Նա իդեալական մուսա է, ուսուցիչ, բժիշկ։


Ամեն մի կին շատ թե քիչ ունի բոլոր այս գծերից։ Խնդիրն առաջանում է այն դեպքում, երբ կինը, պատահում է, չի համապատասխանում այն դերին, որ հասարակությունն է նրա վզին փաթաթում։ Եթե սիրուհուն ստիպենք մոր դերում լինել, իսկ ռազմուհուն՝ դաստիարակի, հնարավոր է՝ ողբերգություն լինի։

Տղամարդիկ էլ չորս հիմնական բնավորություն ունեն՝ հողագործ, քոչվոր, շինարար, ռազմիկ։
Երջանիկ ամուսնության բերող միակ միությունը «մայր և հողագործ» զույգի մեջ է։ Երկուսն էլ ձգտում են մշտականության և հանգստի։ Մնացած բոլոր զույգերը կարող են հսկայական կիրք ապրել, բայց բախումը նրանց մեջ անխուսափելի է։

Կայացած կնոջ նպատակը և՛ մայր, և՛ սիրուհի, և՛ ռազմուհի, և՛ դաստիարակ դառնալն է։ Միայն այդ դեպքում կարող ենք ասել, որ արքայադուստրը վերածվել է թագուհու։
Կայացած տղամարդու նպատակը և՛ հողագործ, և՛ քոչվոր, և՛ շինարար, և՛ ռազմիկ դառնալն է։ Միայն այդ դեպքում կարող ենք ասել, որ արքայազնը վերածվել է արքայի։
Ու երբ կայացած արքան հանդիպում է կայացած թագուհուն, մի մոգական բան է կատարվում։ Ե՛վ կիրք է լինում, և՛ մշտականություն։ Բայց սա շատ հազվադեպ է լինում։
