ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման ապրիլին կայցելի Լոնդոն՝ նպատակ ունենալով աջակցել Եվրամիությունում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի անդամակցությանը։ Այս մասին գրում է The Independent on Sunday-ը։
ԱՄՆ նախագահն ապրիլի 24-ին պետք է Գերմանիայում մասնակցի Hannover Messe տեխնոլոգիական ցուցահանդեսի բացմանը։ «Բարաք Օբաման այդ ժամանակահատվածում կայցելի մեզ»,-հայտնել է Բրիտանիայի վարչապետի աշխատակազմի աղբյուրը։
Թերթը ենթադրում է, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի՝ ԵՄ անդամակցության աջակցության արշավին ԱՄՆ նախագահի ներգրավումը կարող է Ազդել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի բնակչության հասարակական կարծիքի վրա։ The Independent on Sunday-ի պատվերով անցկացված վերջին հարցումների համաձայն, երկրի վարչապետ Դեւիդ Քեմերոնին, որը հանդես է գալիս ստատուս քվոյի պահպանման օգտին, վստահում է հարցվածների 35 տոկոսը։ Նրա ընդդիմախոս Բորիս Ջոնսոնին աջակցում է 34 տոկոսը։
Միաժամանակ ԵՄ անդամության հակառակորդներին վրդովվեցրել է փաստը, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահը միջամտում է երկրի ներքին գործերին։ Նրանք պահանջել են թույլ չտալ, որ Օբաման այդ թեմայով ելույթ ունենա Մեծ Բրիտանիայի խորհրդարանում։ Այս պահին նման պահանջով հանձնագիր տակ ստորագրել է 16 հազար մարդ։
Նշենք, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի՝ ԵՄ հետագա անդամակցության հարցով հանրաքվեն տեղի է ունենալու հունիսի 23-ին։
