Ադրբեջանը կարող է դադարեցնել իր մասնակցությունը բանակցային գործընթացին եթե համարի, որ դրա համար հարմար պահը եկել է: Այդպիսի հարմար պահ կարող է վրա հասնել այն ժամանակ, երբ պաշտոնական Բաքուն կհամարի, որ կարող է խնդիրը լուծել ռազմական ուժ կիրառելու միջոցով կամ էլ պայմանավորվի համաշխարհային ուժի կենտրոններից մեկի հետ և վերջինիս արված զիջումների դիմաց ստանա Արցախը բռնակցելու համար անհրաժեշտ ռազմական, քաղաքական, տնտեսական, դիվանագիտական ու քարոզչական աջակցությունը:
Այսպիսով՝ եթե պաժտոնական Բաքուն հայտարարի այն մասին, որ դադարեցնում է իր մասնակցությունը ԵԱՀԿ ՄԽ հովանու ներքո իրականացվող բանակցային գործընթացին, ապա դա կնշանակի, որ դրանից շատ չանցած կամ պատերազմ է սկսելու, կամ էլ հստակ պայմանավորվածություն կա այն մասին, որ վերոհիշյալ կենտրոններից մեկը խնդիրը հօգուտ Ադրբեջանի լուծելու հստակ երաշխիքներ է տվել: Մինսկի խմբի գոյության շնորհիվ համաշխարհային ուժի կենտրոններն ապահովում են թե իրենց սեփական, և թե հակամարտության կողմերի շահերի հավասարակշռությունը: Դուրս գալով բանակցային գործընթացից և այդ կենտրոններից մեկի հետ գործարքի գնալու միջոցով պաշտոնական Բաքուն կարող է խախտել այդ հավասարակշռությունը հօգուտ իրեն:
