 ԱՄՆ-ի հինգ նահանգներում՝ Իլինոյսում, Միսուրիում, Օհայոյում, Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայում եւ Ֆլորիդայում, մարտի 15-ին տեղի Է ունեցել հանրապետականների ու դեմոկրատների ազգային համագումարների պատվիրակների հերթական ընտրությունները, որտեղ առաջադրվելու են նախագահի թեկնածուները:

CBS News-ի նախնական տվյալների համաձայն՝ միլիարդատեր Դոնալդ Թրամփը հանրապետականների կուսակցական ընտրությունների առաջատարն Է Իլինոյսում, Միսուրիում, Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայում եւ Ֆլորիդայում: Օհայոյում հաղթել Է այդ նահանգի նահանգապետ Ջոն Քեյսիկը, Թրամփն զբաղեցրել Է երկրորդ տեղը:

Իլինոյսում եւ Միսուրիում դեմոկրատների կուսակցական ընտրություններում ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին պետքարտուղար Հիլարի Քլինթոնը նվազագույն առավելությամբ հաղթել Է Վերմոնտից սենատոր Բեռնի Սանդերսին: Երկու նահանգներում Էլ արդյունքը  մոտավորապես նույնն Է՝ 50 տոկոս՝ 49 տոկոսի դիմաց:

Օհայոյի, Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայի եւ Ֆլորիդայի նահանգներում ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին պետքարտուղարը վստահ հաղթանակ Է տարել Սանդերսի նկատմամբ՝ համապատասխանաբար 56 տոկոս՝ 43 տոկոսի դիմաց, 55 տոկոս՝ 41 տոկոսի դիմաց եւ 64 տոկոս՝ 33 տոկոսի դիմաց արդյունքներով:

«Գերերեքշաբթիի» նշանակալի արդյունքներից մեկը դարձել Է նախընտրական մրցարշավից Ֆլորիդայի նահանգից սենատոր Մարկո Ռուբիոյի դուրս գալը: Սենատորն իր «տնային» նահանգում պարտություն Է կրել Թրամփից:

Մարտի 15-ի դրությամբ Թրամփը կանխապահովել Է 574 պատվիրակների, իսկ նրա հիմնական մրցակից սենատոր Թեդ Քրուզը՝ 365 պատվիրակների աջակցությունը: Պայքարից դուրս եկած Ռուբիոն հասցրել Էր հավաքել 159 ձայն: Քեյսիկի օգտին տրվել Է 127 ձայն: Հանրապետական կուսակցությունից թեկնածու առաջադրվելու համար պահանջվում Է հավաքել 1237 ձայն:

Դեմոկրատների շրջանում Քլինթոնը հավաքել Է առաջիկա համագումարի պատվիրակների 1412 ձայն՝ առաջադրվելու համար անհրաժեշտ 2383-ից, իսկ Սանդերսը՝ 638 ձայն:

ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի ընտրությունները տեղի են ունենալու 2016 թվականի նոյեմբերի 8-ին:
