Մկրտիչ Իսրայելյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Վերջերս աշխատանքի բերումով երկու թեմա էի ուսումնասիրում՝ Հայաստանի տարածքների ականազերծման եւ Արարատյան դաշտի ստորգետնյա ջրերի պահպանության մասին: Հայաստանում 47 մլն քմ տարածք ականապատ է, 35 հազար մարդ ապրում է ականների անմիջական հարեւանությամբ: Հայտնի է, որ անհանգստացնող պատկեր է նաեւ ստորգետնյա քաղցրահամ ջրերի առումով: Եթե նախկինում ստորգետնյա աղբյուրները ինքնաշատրվանում էին մինչեւ 15մ բարձրությամբ, ապա այսօր այդ աղբյուրները հերթով ցամաքում են: Եղած ջուրն էլ անխնա շահագործվում եւ հետո հոսում է Թուրքիա: Քաղցրահամ ջուրը Հայաստանի թերեւս ամենաթանկարժեք բնական պաշարն է: Վերջին տարիներին ականապատ տարածքների մաքրման եւ ընդերքի քաղցրահամ ջրերի պահպանման եւ արդյունավետ օգտագործման համար Հայաստանին ֆինանսական, տեխնիկական եւ մասնագիտական օգնություն է ցուցաբերում ԱՄՆ: Ի դեպ այդ հարցերի կարգավորման համար հատկացվող փողը վարկեր չեն, Հայաստանը տոկոսներ չի մուծելու: Հիմա գիտեմ կլինեն մարդիկ, որ կսկսեեեեն՝ դե եթե էդ ամերիկացիք խառնվել են ուրեմն մի շահ ունեն, մի բան մտքներին կա ու էդ կարգի հիվանդագին այլ ենթադրություններ կանեն: Գիշերները չեն քնի, որ մտածեն թե ինչ կա ամերիկացիների մտքին: 
ԱՄՆ այդ օգնության համար Հայաստանից որեւէ բան չի խլել, ինչպես սովորաբար վարվում է էն <բարեկամը>: Ու ստեղ՝ ինձ թվում է, որ կարեւոր էլ չէ, թե որն է ամերիկացիների շահը: Իմ կարծիքով կարեւորը էն է, որ մեր փոքր երկրի տարածքը մաքրվում է մահաբեր վտանգից, իսկ ջուրն էլ որոշ չափով պահպանվելու է:
