Իսկական տղամարդու հատկանիշերից առաջինը ես համարում եմ սեփական մտավախությունների հետ պայքարելու ունակությունը։ Ես չեմ ժխտում տղամարդկանց  վախերի իրավունքը, չեմ սպասում իրենցից ցուցադրական հերոսությունների։

Տղամարդիկ հաճախ վախենում են բժիշկներից, գումարի բացակայությունից, անկողնում անհաջողություններից, վթարներից և այլն, և այլն․․․Սակայն նորմալ տղամարդը կգնա բժիշկի՝ չսպասելով մինչ դանակը ոսկորին կհասնի, կսովորի տնտեսել կամ ավելի շատ գումար վաստակել, ղեկին հարբած չի նստի, կխոստովանի, որ երբեմն անկողնում «վրիպումներ» լինում են, և բոլոր վերոհիշյալ անախորժություններն իր անձնական խնդիրն է համարում, այլ որ թե շրջապատի։

Նորմալ տղամարդկանց երկրորդ հատկանիշը ես համարում եմ ֆիզիոլոգիայի նկատմամբ ադեկվատ վերաբերմունքը։ Ամենևին էլ նկատի չունեմ այն տղամարդկանց, որոնք շաբաթը մեկ են լողանում և կարծում են, որ քրտինքն ու սխտորը լավագույն աֆրոդիզիակներն են։ Ես խոսում եմ նրանց մասին, ովքեր նողկանք չեն ապրում կնոջ մոտ հանկարծակի սկսված ամենամսյա ցիկլից, կամ երեխայի փսխումներից ու լուծից։ Ելնելով անձնական փորձից՝ կարող եմ ասել, որ հենց այս տեսակ չզզվող տղամարդիկ են լավ սիրեկաներ լինում, քանզի նրանք ընդունում են կնոջ մարմինն ու ֆիզիոլոգիան այնպիսին, ինչպիսին որ այն կա և չեն փորձում հարմարեցնել այն սեփական բակտերիոֆոբիայի սահմանափակումներին։

Նորմալ տղամարդու երրորդ հատկանիշը՝ կնոջ և տղամարդու հոգեբանության տարբերության ընկալումը։ Նրանք գիտեն, որ մենք էմոցիոնալ էակներ ենք, ավելի բարդ և բոլոր իմաստներով անկանխատեսելի, և տալիս են մեզ հնարավորություն լինել հենց այդպիսի՝ բնության կողմից ստեղծած, և ոչ մի դեպքում չեն ներկայացնում պահանջների ցուցակը։ Ինչո՞ւ։ Որովհետև հենց սրա մեջ է սեռերի միջև հաղորդակցության գեղեցկությունը։ Եթե մենք միանման լինեինք, ապա որտե՞ղ է հետաքրքրությունը։  

Նորմալ տղամարդու չորրորդ հատկանիշը իր ցանկությունների հստակ պատկերացումն է՝ ըստ իրավիճակների։ «Հիմա ես քաղցած եմ։ Հիմա քնել եմ ուզում։ Իսկ հիմա հոգնած եմ։ Մեկ ժամից կգնամ աշխատանքի, կվերադառնամ երեկոյան 23։00։ Սա իմ վերջին գավաթն է»: Նա այդպես որոշեց և այդպես էլ արեց։ Կյանքի տարբեր իրավիճակներում այս տղամարդիկ արագ կողմնորոշվում են, թե խնդիրների խճճված կծիկը որտեղից է պետք  քանդել, և նրանց դժվար է շփոթեցնել։ Սա նաև ինքդ քեզ հետ հաշտ լինելու նշան է։

Նորմալ տղամարդու հինգերորդ հատկանիշը՝ ողջամիտ վերաբերմունքը գումարը ծախսելու, ինչպես նաև տնտեսելու նկատմամբ։ Անհրաժեշտության դեպքում կօգնի, անպետք գնումներից կխուսափի։ Ողջամիտ տղամարդիկ կտրականապես դեմ են մոլախաղերի, քանի որ ժամանակի և առողջության համար անիմաստ զբաղմունք են համարում։
