Արարատյան հարթավայրում և Տավուշի մարզի ցածրադիր գոտիներում մարտի 17-ի գիշերը գրանցվել են բացասական  ջերմաստիճաններ: Հարթավայրում ամենացածր ջերմաստիճանները դիտվել են Զվարթնոցի (օդում` մինչև -6Օ, հողի մակերևույթին` -70) և Մերձավանի (-50 օդում, հողի մակերևույթին` -6Օ) օդերևութաբանական կայաններում: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, նախնական դիտարկումների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ ծիրանի բերքն առավել մեծ չափով վնասվել է Էջմիածնի և Մասիսի տարածաշրջանների` «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանին հարակից համայնքներում, որտեղ ծիրանենին հիմնականում մշակվում է տնամերձ հողակտորներում:

Նախնական տվյալներով, Արտաշատի, Արմավիրի տարածաշրջաններում և Բաղրամյանի տարածաշրջանի ներքին հատվածներում առկա է մասնակի վնասվածություն: Արարատի տարածաշրջանում և Բաղրամյանի վերին հատվածում էական վնասներ չեն նկատվել: Մեղրիում արձանագրվել են դրական ջերմաստիճաններ, Վայոց ձորի մարզում նկատելի կորուստներ չեն գրանցվել:

Ընդհանրացնելով մարզերից ու համայնքներից ստացված տեղեկությունները` կարելի է նշել, որ այսօրվա դրությամբ դեռևս ծիրանենու բերքի առանձնապես մեծ կորուստներ չեն գրանցվել: Սակայն մարտի 17-ի լույս 18-ի գիշերն Արարատյան դաշտում, Տավուշի, Վայոց ձորի և Սյունիքի հովտային գոտիներում օդում հնարավոր է -4... -7 աստիճան, գետնի մակերևույթին` -5... -8 աստիճան ցուրտ, մարտի 19-ի գիշերը` համապատասխանաբար  -2... -5 և -3... -6 աստիճան ցուրտ:

Չնայած առաջիկայում կանխատեսվող ջերմաստիճանային ռեժիմին, այնուամենայնիվ, մեծ է հավանականությունը, որ առանձին տարածաշրջաններում կարող են դիտվել ավելի թույլ ցրտահարություններ, ուստի խորհուրդ է տրվում կորիզավոր պտղատու այգիներում շարունակել նախկինում առաջարկված պաշտպանական միջոցառումների իրականացումը: Սինթետիկ թաղանթների տակ աճեցվող մշակաբույսերը ցրտահարությունից պաշտպանելու նպատակով օգտագործել լրացուցիչ ծածկոցներ կամ հնարավորության դեպքում կատարել ջեռուցում:
