Այն երկիրը, ուր դուք պիտի մտնեք ժառանգելու համար, լեռնային ու հովտային երկիր է, որը ոռոգվում է երկնքից թափվող անձրևով։ Դա մի երկիր է, որը քո Տեր Աստվածն է խնամում, տարվա սկզբից մինչև տարվա վերջը քո Տեր Աստծու աչքը միշտ նրա վրա է։ Եթե ուշադրությամբ լսես նրա բոլոր պատվիրանները, որոնք ես այսօր պատգամում եմ քեզ, այն է՝ սիրես քո Տեր Աստծուն, պաշտես նրան քո ամբողջ հոգով ու քո ամբողջ էությամբ, ապա նա ձեր երկրին կտա ըստ ժամանակի պահանջվող առաջին ու վերջին անձրևը, որպեսզի կարողանաս ամբարել քո ցորենը, գինին ու յուղը։ Նա քո դաշտերին խոտ կտա քո անասունի համար։ Կուտես և կհագենաս։ Զգո՛ւյշ եղեք, չլինի թե ամբարտավանանան ձեր հոգիները, մեղք գործեք, օտար աստվածներ պաշտեք ու երկրպագեք նրանց։ Այն ժամանակ Տերը խիստ կզայրանա ձեզ վրա, արգելք կդնի երկնքի վրա, անձրև չի լինի, հողն իր բերքը չի տա, և դուք շատ արագ կկորչեք այս լավ երկրից, որ Տերը տվել է ձեզ։ Այս խոսքերն ի պահ դրե՛ք ձեր մտքում ու ձեր հոգում։ Դրանք որպես նշան կապե՛ք ձեր ձեռքերին, որ մշտապես մնան ձեր աչքերի առջև։ Դուք դրանք սովորեցրե՛ք ձեր որդիներին և դրանց մասին խոսեցե՛ք տանը նստելիս ու ճանապարհ գնալիս, պառկելիս ու վեր կենալիս։ Դրանք գրեցե՛ք ձեր տների մուտքերին ու դռների վրա, որպեսզի ձեր կյանքը երկար լինի, իսկ ձեր որդիների կյանքն այն երկրի վրա, որ Տերը երդվել է տալ ձեր հայրերին, լինի այնքան երկար, որքան որ երկինքը կլինի երկրի վրա։ Եթե ուշադրությամբ լսեք այս բոլոր պատվիրանները, որոնք ես այսօր պատգամում եմ ձեզ, որ անեք, այն է՝ սիրեք ձեր Տեր Աստծուն, գնաք նրա ճանապարհով ու հարեք նրան, ապա Տերը ձեր առջևից կհեռացնի այդ բոլոր ազգերին, և դուք կնվաճեք ձեզանից մեծ ու հզոր ազգերին»։
