Նշանադրությունը՝ դարեր ի վեր, համարվում է նախահարսանեկան գեղեցիկ արարողություն:

Փեսան և հարսը բոլորի ներկայությամբ հաստատում են իրենց միասին ընտանիք կազմելու  ցանկությունը և, որպես նշան, փեսան իր ապագա կնոջը նվիրում է նշանադրության մատանի:

Հետաքրքիր է, իսկ ո՞ր մատի վրա պետք է այն կրել:

Հարցումների ընթացքում պարզվել է, որ աղջիկների մեծ մասը կարծում է, որ նշանի մատանին պետք է կրել ձախ ձեռքի մատնեմատին: Բայց իրականում, տարբեր երկրներում նշանի մատանին կրում են տարբեր մատի վրա:

Օրինակ՝ Ռուսաստանում նշանի մատանին կրում են աջ ձեռքի մատնեմատին, իսկ ասենք Եվրոպայում՝ ձախ ձեռքի մատնեմատին. շատ այլ երկրներում ամուսնական մատանի են կրում բաժանված կանայք կամ այրիները:

Նշանադրությունը հին ժամանակներից եկած սովորույթ է: Այս խոսում է եիտասարդների՝ իրենց միությունն ամուսնական կապով հաստատելու անփոփոխ մտադրության մասին:

Մինչև զագսում պաշտոնապես գրանցվելը, հարսը մատանին կրում է նույն մատի վրա, բայց հարսանիքի օրը հարսը մատանին հանում է, որովհետև, ըստ ավանդույթի, այդ օրն ընդունված չէ զարդ կրելը: Հարսանիքից հետո կինը նշանի մատանին կրում է նույն մատի վրա ամուսնության մատանու հետ միասին:

Այն ընտանեկան իրադարձություն է, որ նշվում է նեղ ընտանեկան շրջանակում:

Նշենք, որ 15-րդ դարում հենց նշանադրության ժամանակ է նվիրվել առաջին ադամանդե մատանին:

Հետաքրքրական է, որ հին ժամանակներում նշանադրության համար երեք մատանի էին պատրաստում՝ հարսին, փեսային և իրենց ներկայացուցչին:

Իհարկե, ամեն ինչ մի կողմ թողնելով՝ պետք է ասել, որ այս սովորույթն ունի մի խոր իմաստ՝ հաստատել ու պահպանել երիտասարդների միությունը:
